Lovely meal. The curry was very tasty. Lovely steak pie with good local ingredients. Puddings a bit expensive but very nice. When we booked no mention that the table was needed in 2hrs 😕 Bit of a rush.

Dropped in here after a long walk with my 10 year old son. Great food, the best chips I have had in a long while. The TV room was tucked away so discrete but bursting at the seams with very friendly locals watching the match.

The steak and ale pie was tasty and full of steak, and the other meals at the table went down well too The local beer made from New Zealand hops was great, can’t recall the name, but had a purple moose on the logo

We called in for an early supper and was greeted very nicely. The premises were spotless and a nice choice of seating areas. The menu had just enough choice and showed it was all freshly produced. Also a good children's menu. A really good find....More
