Co-worker and I are from out of town doing work for the city. Stopped by this place after seeing high scores online. They also, as of this posting, have a 100 rating for sanitation! Food was excellent. Turkey bbq, proper cornbread, yams were awesome. Service...was very responsive and kind. Looked to be a hard working family running the place. Go check them out!More

Becky & I were out on our Harley's on a country ride from Wilson when we tried the W.I.S.E. restaurant in Warrenton, NC. The ribs, cabbage & string beans were delicious, but the coconut cake & pie were out of this world. We can't wait...to go back. Super nice folks, clean restrooms, and great southern cooking. My hubby and I love us some good Southern cooking and this place excells in that area. What a treat to find this little gem in downtown Warrenton on Sunday after church! They serve a buffet with scrumptious fried chicken, bbq pork chops, and country...style steak. Their sides are just like Grandma would make: mac n cheese (truly cheesy), candied yams (sticky, sweet and caramelized), real mashed potatoes or rice, turnip greens (seasoned just right), corn pudding, stewed apples, butter beans, and more. The buffet is refilled with small servings so everything is fresh and hot. There's a salad bar and homemade desserts included but we haven't gotten that far in our two visits. In town to visit friends and wanted to have some home cooking. Well, the fried chicken was made with love and the Mac and cheese outstanding.. Next time I'll leave room for something sweet!

This is a Brand New Soul Food Restaurant, Summer 2017, in Warrenton, North Carolina, but the Town is from back in the 1700's, and this Restaurant is located in the Historical District, so you get to eat in a place that dates way back in...time. The Menu Selections are plentiful, with much to choose from, but they do have a planned Menu for each day of the week, along with some items as a Daily Entree. The Prices are in the single digits, although all items are selected A-La-Carte style, but still the Food prices are very cheap for what you are getting. The Service is very Friendly, the Owners share Ancestry to the area, and you can tell that they are very happy to have the Restaurant, and they look to make sure that everyone is pleased with their Meal there. They are still very new and so they will continue to add on more things, like events to help make the Restaurant a bit more Entertaining at times, for instance, there is mention of having a Karaoke Day, etc. The Restaurant is called 3 -in-1 because they not only are a Restaurant but they have a mini Boutique where they sell other items, for example Pocketbooks, etc., and they are also in the Transportation Business. In any event, it is a spacious Restaurant on the inside and is clean, with a cute Cafe look on the Exterior Decor. This is a very casual Restaurant, and the Plate Ware and Utensils are all Paper and Plastic, except for your drinking cup is Glass. The Food is Tasty. We would certainly look to return to this Restaurant again for more future Meals, and we do recommend this Restaurant to others who are interested in a casual atmosphere, in an Old Town. The Town of Warrenton, North Carolina is not very far from the Border Line of Virginia and North Carolina, off of Interstate 85. This Restaurant does have long hours that they are open, which makes it convenient to visit.More
