We had been to the George's in Oxford & Henderson, so tried this for lunch today. We arrived just before lunch time, and were greeted when we arrived, and taken to a table on the side. Shanelle was our server, and she was attentive, pleasant,...quite helpful for our first visit. The background music was was perfect, enough to hear, but not overwhelming conversation---just right level. My wife got the grilled chicken wrap, and I had a Reuben. Both were served with a nice sized helping of their home made chips, which were excellent. Her chicken wrap was large , very good, and enough left for another lunch. I had one of the best Reubens ( my favorite) I had eaten in quite a while. It was about the best I've had, and look forward to having another one in the not too distant future. I only wish they had some Dijon or brown spicy mustard to accent the taste. Otherwise, great food, Shanelle gave great service, and a reasonable price for the quality & quantity we received. George's Family Restaurant is a new Restaurant that is where the old Robinson Ferry Restaurant used to be that closed. George's Family Restaurant just recently opened in March 2022, everything inside looks the same as it did before with the other Restaurant that was there,...except at this time they are waiting to get the Bar Area up and running, but for now everything else is open to Dine in or Take out. They have a really nice big Menu with plenty of great choices to choose on Meals, and the prices are reasonable, and the portions of Food are plentiful, and our Meals were delicious. The Wait Staff are friendly, and the Restaurant is clean, with an open environment in a very old but well maintained Historical Building that dates back in time, in perhaps the 19th Century. We enjoyed our Meal and will look to return, and we recommend this Restaurant.More
