Order lunch while passing through. My wife got the sausage dog and I got the double cheeseburger. The sausage dog was ok, a little spicy. My burger was a little dry and could of used more condiments.
Delicious food & surprisingly extensive menu. Very polite service. The double fish sandwich with the works and a side of fries—- yummy!!! Adding some vinegar to both would be delicious too. Fair prices. Eat in car / take out only. Friends got hotdog and philly...steak - said to be ok. They wish they had went with the burger. I would get my fish again though. You should go!!More
An old Tasty Freeze but serves fresh burgers, fries, hot dogs, homemade milk shakes, soft serve ice cream, fried pork chops and much more. No seating for eating so you take it home or eat in your car.
great food in a dairy queen -type setting, to go food and ice cream and shakes, a local legend. Burger Barn has been a part of historic Warrenton for at least 70 years.
If you want a burger, look no further. Incredible burgers and all sorts of other foods. Worth a stop in anytime that you pass by. Take out only.
We were driving through N.C. At lunch time and were looking for a place to have lunch. Even though it was 9 mile off the interstate we decided to give the Burger Barn a try. The trip into town was a glimpse of old time...rural N.C. And the old homes in town were great to see also. The town was started in 1775 and at one time there was a lot of money there, anyway we found the Burger Barn and it looked like a run down old time drive inn that has seem its better days. The food however was very good with their 1/4# hand pattied 80/20 beef on a fresh bun and tasty condiments. The fries were good old Crinkle fries but hot and fried in fresh oil. The lunch was good, the people were very nice and we've glad we made the trip off the interstate..More
I have passed this place numerous of times in the past 9 years that I have been working in Warrenton, and yesterday I decided to stop, and need I say more I'm back today. The price is reasonable, The Food exceeded my expectations. The people...are your everyday hometown friendly people. If you pass through this small town, Stop by Burger Barn, you will not be disappointed.More
The Burger Barn has been in Warrenton for decades and with good reason. I was too tired to cook last night and needed something delicious and fast. Had a wonderful double cheeseburger with fries...and unsweetened ice tea to "cancel out" the calories. On past visits,...I've enjoyed the fried chicken, fried pork chops, fried fish, and "old timey" pork barbecue sandwiches slathered with coleslaw. There are also fresh, green salads available plain or with meat items. You can't go wrong with any of the "take-out-only" menu items to be enjoyed in your car or at home.More
In the mood for a burger fries and a chocolate malt? Look no further than the Burger Barn. But that's not all this place offers. BBQ, fish plates, fried chicken and even a veggie burger. Homemade milkshakes and sundaes and you have the makings of...an old fashioned burger place. This is order and eat in your car or at home but is definitely a place to remember.More
WE regularly stop here for an ice cream treat. Since you have to eat in your car or take it somewhere else, don't get other food there until the weather cools. But noticed their inspection grade of 100% just 3 weeks ago. Burgers I've had...from there in the past were very good. Great and quaint part of the Warrenton dining experience.More
Delicious burger, fries, and Coca Cola. 100% health inspection code. A great small town experience. Support local. Warrenton.
Old school good food. Best Burger around. Walk up window and wait, but the wait is worth it. The Hog Heaven is excellent.
Don't judge the book by its cover. This is a recycled Dairy Freeze type building with walkup windows and no where to sit. Everything is "to go". Best burgers around, hand formed and cooked to order. A menu too large, but everything is first rate....We've had the burgers, barbecue, hot dogs, and fried fish dinners. Everything's good. Good, down home southern food served with love.More
Been their many years. it's not a place for a person on a diet.Good Ice cream. The food is great. Only wrong thing is the Building needs working on, making it look nicer to the eye. Its clean and the workers are very nice !!!
