Went in there with some friends asked the man behind the counter non chalantly nice looking pastries do you make them here and he went on off on me with insults and threats-real Norman Bates type off his meds-when confronted back he hid behind his cash register- needless to say that's one car load of folks that will not be... The glazed donuts here are really good. Just enough sweetness. Not too sweet. The service I received was terrible. The man behind the counter wasn't friendly at all. Matter of fact he didn't even greet me with a "hi" or smile. As much as I like the donuts I probably won't be going back. Sad to have such good products... More

Whenever I don't have time to go to Krispy Kreme in Greenville, I'll stop by here for something sweet. I love the chocolate glazed doughnuts and apple fritters! Although it's a little on the pricey side, they're one of the better places to buy pastry.

I'm a sales guy and especially if I'm visiting folks first thing in the morning I like to bring in something. All too often local choices are limited to franchised doughnuts or boxed pastries from a local Walmart. I always look for a good bakery and Brownie Bakery is what I'm looking for. The offering is fairly broad, everything was... More

The baked delights are very good. Excellent crusts on turnovers. I understand they have Deiner's Bakery's (of Greenville NC fame) recipes for bear claws and the like. You will not be disappointed.

Just stopped for a coffee this afternoon while driving around the general vicinity. Interesting place. Not as eclectic as the name implies.

This is an excellent bakery! You don't find bakeries of this caliber in most small towns anymore. This bakery reminds me of my childhood. My favorite treat is the Glazed Twist but they have an assortment of other goodies as well and are well known for their delicious brownies. The cake squares are also very good. They do serve lunch.... More

Terrible service. The man was so mean to us and our children. Cookies were stale, coffee was cold, prices were terrible. Never going back. I have never been treated so horribly at a business.

The owner is a hateful man. He belittles customers. He belittled me in front of my 5 yr daughter. After giving him the benefit of the doubt even after hearing of his attitude, it didn't take long to find out...The cakes are tacky and so is he.

All I can say is I would not miss this bakery when in the Washington area. My favorite are the glazed donuts. My friends love the cookies and other baked goods and treats there. Coffee is great robust strong and there are a lot of options for flavored. It's not often that you see a bakery like this in eastern... More
