This place was okay. The best thing was the live music. My fiancé and I had just got into town and were going to get some dinner. We found this place and walked in. The man ( I guess he was the manager/owner) asked if we had reservations, ( it didn't say anything online about having to make reservations), when... More

Well my wife had made a reservation and wanted to be in the room by the music , They did that ok , except they had a tiny table that looks like they brought in from the storage room and instead of my wife facing the wall I did, never in my life have I been put in that kind... More

This was our second visit to the wine cellar. Very small adult friendly restaurant in a basement. The service is decent, the food is good, and the entertainment is classy.

10/22, 10/29, + 11/19 & 11/25 already reserved. Whether its: pianist / singer Joe Cruz playing the music of the Beatles, Elton John, James Taylor, Simon & Garfunkel, Sting; Jazz vocalist Wendy Jones paying tribute to Duke Ellington; Mean Mary’s lightning fast banjo & fiddle; or a whole line-up of talented local, regional & national musicians regularly appearing in this... We went to The Wineseller because the other restaurants nearby were booked. I wish we'd have just gone back to the hotel and ordered a pizza. The service was terrible! After being seated, we waited for a server for 10 minutes, even though there were only 5 other tables at the time. She finally did come take our order. The... More

These folks know how to provide a meal and entertainment that would be received most favorably in any large city. The Asian salad was wonderful and the mushroom soup was among the best. Our party of four thoroughly enjoyed small plates of the grilled baguette, sausage flat bread, Italian scampi, chicken caprino, fantini farnese, and all four deserts on the... More

We have frequented the Classic Wine Cellar on several special occasions. The most memorable was on Valentine's Day when the meal was a 5 course set menu. The food and service were delightful, followed by a top-notch trio to entertain us with nostalgic standards from the 30'sand 40's. A romantic evening we will continue to remember. It is a nice hidden treasure... More

We attended a blind tasting of six wines, with the wine labels masked. The wines were paired in groupings of two. Attendees sat at tables family-style, which encouraged people to share comments about the wines. The distributor conducting the tasting asked people to guess the varietal and country of origin. It was a lively group discussion and fun hearing everyone's... More

We went for appetizers and drinks. The ceilings are low. There were no windows where we sat (it's a cellar). The path to the toilet is an obstacle course. They apps were small. The less expensive wine was undistinguished. The band was loud. If they took requests, mine would be that they stop playing. The only bright spot was our... More

I'm very sorry you are unhappy. We are a cellar, you are correct, so there are almost no windows in our underground space. We have reseated a couple of customers in the past who are claustrophobic and let me know as we walked into the seating area--I know that must have been very uncomfortable for you. Yes, we do serve... More
