Poor service. One one person was waiting tables. Food selection was poor. It was overpriced for lunch. Bread from bakery was overpriced as well.

I liked coming here for all the amazing European and German dishes. The food was always fantastic but this restaurant has permanently GONE OUT OF BUSINESS !!!

We are from Germany and just left your Restaurant in Greensboro. None of us ate. We all send the food back on top of being insulted by by the girl that brings the food out. Waitress was great. The bread was good. We had to pay full price even though we did not eat. The food is NOT GERMAN. That... More

Made a reservation a week ahead of time for two people. When we arrived 10 minutes early (the restaurant was not busy at all), we were told we couldn't be seated yet, so we asked if we could sit in the nice, big bar. "No, the bar isn't open." was the answer we got, despite someone sitting at the bar... More

I understand that Old Europe has closed and locked its doors and is moving to a location in Greensboro. Their spot on Stratford Road was a tricky one for a restaurant.

Old Europe is really a good little German restaurant. The menu is somewhat small but they have all the staples you would expect. I do wish they had beer on tap. You just expect it at a place like this. However, the bottled beer selection is quite good. At lunch, the prices are quite reasonable, but dinner is a different... More

The building doesn't look like looks like much from the outside, but don't be fooled. The interior is much nicer and the wait staff is very friendly. The food is authentic and worth you time.

My husband and I discovered this place last year and couldn't wait to go back. Authentic German cuisine with friendly, attentive servers dressed in German dirndls. We started with the herring in cream sauce as an appetizer, which was very nice. My husband had the wiener schnitzel and I had konigsberger klopse, beef and pork meatballs in a white sauce... More

We were in town for a meeting and there are no German restaurants near where we live. We found Old Europe to be a little rough around the edges but the food was good. We had one wiener schnitzel and one jagerschnitzel with soup and salad. I enjoyed the weiner schnitzel best however the spatzle with the jagerschnitzel was truly... More

Have heard about this from a number of people. I had the Sauerbraten and found it tasty as was the red cabbage, Spaetzle and sauerkraut. My wife had the Reuben and it was excellent. We had the black forest cake and were not only pleased with the taste but found it enough for two. Would like to go back and... More
