If you're not sure of what you want to eat, this is the place to go. Mixture of Italian, Greek, and American dishes. I had an Italian dish which included fresh sauce and mozzarella. Delicious!!

Restaurant was recommended to my friend but she thought that Gyro platter was much too salty. I ordered fruit as a side. It consisted of half a canned pear, half a canned peach, a slice of canned pineapple and a marishino cherry. Blah. We did receive our food quickly, but paying for our bill was held up because prior customer... More

The food at Sylvia's is good. The wait staff is a little slow at times but they usually get the order correctly. The restaurant is clean and well organized.

I've visited this restaurant about two dozen times in the last few years. It is very consistent: clean and well maintained. Wait staff is uniformly pleasant and efficient. The owners, a Greek couple, and his brother-in-law are present at every visit. Both men are well read and fascinating to talk with. The work at developing relationships with their guests. The... American, Italian, Greek, and more at great prices. I have always gotten good food and quite adequate service even when they are very busy. My favorites are Baked Carbonara and the steak and cheese sub. I take half home for tomorrow as the portions are rather large. The menu is extensive, so there is always something for everyone.

There were about three tables with customers when I went in. I sat at a booth and I ordered the French toast and a scrambled egg. I waited and waited. When the couple in the next booth, who came in a few minutes after me, was served, I finally asked someone to check on my order. She came right back... More

Food didn't feel fresh and ingredients looked odd. We ordered the lamb gyro and wouldn't recommended it to anyone. There are better options there.

They were closing in 25 minutes, but my grandson and I had just checked into our hotel, and they suggested we try Sylvia's for a take out supper. I ordered the fried shrimp and Grandson got chicken strips. Both were very good! I also ordered a slice of the German Chocolate cake to satisfy my nighttime sugar cravings! Best German... More
