The barbecue and side dishes are fair. The service is friendly. The sliced barbecue is my favorite. Slaw is fair.

Very good consistent Lexington style BBQ! Definitely should be on the NC BBQ Trial. Don't forget the Banana Pudding! I liked the hushpuppies over the rolls as well.

Several family members and myself had a quick lunch at Hill's in Winston Salem. Service was very quick and the food was very good. They serve NC style BBQ (of course), so no sticky, red sauces on the pork was served (which is awesome). Their BBQ sauce is the vinegary-mustardy type of sauce that really makes the pork flavor shine... More

I went for breakfast 4/20/16 and service was spot on. The Western Omelet was so so, not much flavor even with the cut up onions and cheese. Coffee is ok as well. Servers were double teaming and keep the coffee coming. The has browns and baskets were good. All in all I would probably not go back. Also if you... More

What a disappointment. The restaurant was crowded so my review is going to be in the vast minority of customers. My chunk BBQ was a pile of much and my wife's chopped was just as sad. If this is wood cooked BBQ you could not detect it from the taste, just a mushy, tasteless mess. There are hundreds of BBQ... More

Stopped for lunch on a Sunday. It was like walking into a restaurant fifty years ago, which would be fine if the food was good. We ordered BBQ, and maybe we should have ordered one of the daily selections instead. BBQ was fatty, with no smoked taste at all. Just chopped roast pork. I heard diners next to us ask... More

Great service and amazing food. I will definitely be back. Clearly family run business - clean - but NOT fancy. You come here for friendly service and good food - not "fine dining" (though you could spend 10x as much and not have a better meal.

I was hungry and ordered a large blocked (what they call coarse chopped) tray. This was after asking the waitress if the large tray had a large portion of barbecue. There were 8 (eight) bite sized pieces of barbecue, slaw and good hush puppies. The cost was $8.50 and I left the restaurant still hungry. The owner asked if everything... More
