This place is a typical college bar with an Irish motif. The servers are cool and accommodating, even for large groups. They were nice about changing the channel for us to watch the NHL playoffs. The food is okay. Typical pubgrub. I would say it's...More

Finnigan's Wake provides a reasonably authentic Irish Pub dining experience in Winston-Salem. The food is good and reasonably priced and the pub atmosphere is very nice. A nice change from the run of the mill eateries that one finds around town.
We love this place for Sunday Brunch. The staff is friendly and the food is excellent. They have an excellent Irish Breakfast.
Recently visited for brunch on a Saturday and tried the Irish breakfast--very good. Service is friendly and attentive--nice atmosphere.
