Best. Catering. Ever.

Sam and his Crew at the White Bull Cafe are second to none in food quality, service and the atmosphere they provide to their guests. Their cafe is amazing but the service they provide for catering events is extraordinary. We had the privilege of having Sam and his team cater our wedding and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He went out of his way to speak to every one of our guests and did anything and everything to make the experience amazing for every person there. When a wedding photographer that attend 2-3 weddings a week says to everyone this food is the best they have ever had, you know they are doing something right. So many of our guests raved about the food and Sam’s personality and we can’t thank them enough for truly making the food and entertainment part of our wedding perfect. Thank you Sam for everything and thank you to your staff for working so hard to make our day special. We can’t recommend you enough to anyone looking for touring services or to stop by for a meal at your beautiful cafe. We can’t wait until the next time we get the chance to enjoy your food.

Wedding Catering -AMAZING

We had Sam, Maria and their team cater our wedding and - WOW! We sure were not disappointed!!! We met with them a couple times to discuss our menu and they were so helpful and accommodating to our requests! We received SO many compliments during and for weeks after the wedding how great the food was! It really was amazing! Everyone was blown away by the carving station. And to top it all off - they packed and put all leftovers (which was so much) away in the fridge for us to take home! They served guests and went over the top to clear all dishes and clean up and pour water. They really do know service and we are so lucky to have them in our local town! If you need a caterer for ANY event but especially your wedding, GO WITH WHITEBULL! You will be blown away! Thanks Sam, Maria and Whitebull! We left part of our day in great hands! Kristen & Josiah

From the moment we got in contact with Sam about catering our wedding, I knew we had to have him! He invited us to the White Bull Cafe to sit with us to talk about our wedding day and offered us a delicious meal. We were chatting for about 45 minutes about everything wedding related - except for the food. He wanted us to make sure we had everything else in place because he was confident he could deliver what we wanted. By the end of our conversation, it was a no brainer, so we locked it in with him. Planning was seamless and easy. Fast forward to the day of the wedding! The part of the wedding that we had the least anxiety about because of Sam was, of course the food! Not only was there so much delicious food, he came around after everyone had sat down again to offer more food to everyone so they didn’t have to go back up to the buffet. He was extremely friendly to all of our guests. Not one complaint, and I am still, almost a week later, receiving compliments about the food and the White Bull Cafes service. That night people couldn’t stop talking about how great everything was. My husband and I were blown away and cannot recommend Sam enough. He’s an amazing and generous man who volunteers his time to those in need on a weekly basis. You wouldn’t want to host an event without him. Truly, every part of our experience with Sam was better than I could’ve ever imagined.

White Bull Cafe Wedding Catering Excellence!

This restaurant catered our son and daughter-in-law's wedding of 100+ people on August 17th, 2024 at Aspen Country Hills Wedding Venue. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were friendly and supportive. The food was prepared onsite at the wedding venue during the afternoon leading up to dinner and was timed perfectly to be ready exactly at our requested dinner time. Due to the food being prepared locally, it tasted fresh and homemade. They also served a late night snack and again the food was superb! The highest of accolades goes out to this restaurant for their excellence. They definitely contributed to making our son and daughter-in-law's wedding a huge success, something we will cherish the memories of forever. Thank you White Bull Cafe!

Sam, Marie, and the Whitebull team did a fanommilal job in catering to Joe and Hannah's wedding. We continue to receive rave reviews on the food and service provided. The facility rented by the couple had a nonoperational kitchen, unbeknownst to anyone prior th the wedding day. Team Whitebull was able to rectify this by using their own restaurant kitchen to cook, no delay in service time at all! We would definitely recommend it to anyone

We're Back with an anniversary !

It was time for an anniversary, and from our last visit to the White Bull, it became a definite choice. And, wouldn't you know it, among the smiling waitresses, we had Tiffany! The selection covered a lot of bases and the flavors were complimented by the service. Great food at reasonable prices, at a time when some other restaurant menu prices look as if they were trying to recoup all that was lost during the past year or so.

White Bull Cafe (Sam and Maria) catered our corporate event of about 70 people. They were simply amazing to work with. Food was excellent and service was stellar! Should we have an event near them again I will definitely contact them for catering. Excellent Experience! Highly Recommend!

Amazing Wedding Caterer!!

Sam and his team catered our wedding on Saturday and I can’t say enough how amazingly wonderful the whole experience was. From the moment I sent a message to inquire and almost immediately got a response, Sam was so delightful! The wedding guests were talking about him and the food all night!! All the food that was leftover from dinner was packaged up and put in the fridge for us and it came out around midnight again and everyone came rushing over for more meatballs and noodle salad. One wedding guest said to me “usually all buffet food tastes the same, how did they make it taste so good!” Another one said “I don’t even like tzatziki sauce but that sauce was so good I was scraping every last bit off my plate” And the donuts… there are no words…just get the donuts!!! I have never been to drayton valley and have never eaten at the restaurant but I will be making a special trip now just to eat there! I strongly recommend Sam and his team to everyone, you will not be disappointed!!

Incredible food & impeccable service!

Sam & his team catered our wedding this last Tuesday. We were completely blown away. From the moment I booked them months ago, Sam was so supportive and offered so much help and advice with planning all parts of our wedding. He is so unbelievably passionate about what he does and it shows through the food itself & the connection he makes with every person he comes in contact with. They made an incredible Greek spread, with enough food to feed all of our guests for lunch the next day. Yep.. that’s right. They left every last bit of food that didn’t get eaten at the dinner. When you hire Sam for an event, not only are you getting incredible food, but you’re getting a wedding planner a photographer & a friend 😂🫶🏻. Thank you to Sam and the White Bull Cafe for adding so much value to our guests experience.

The White Bull Cafe catered our Christmas party this year. The food was fantastic and the service top notch. Sam was so wonderful with the group, going out of his way to make everyone feel welcome, well fed, and he really spread the Christmas cheer. I highly recommend them for any catering, they made the entire process from start to finish so simple.

Amazing Wedding Catering

Sam and his staff recently catered our wedding at Aspen Country Hills North of Drayton Valley. They were great to work with, very accommodating and able to work without a kitchen. They made sure the menu was exactly what we wanted. We had absolutely nothing to worry about on our big day, they had everything ready to go and set up beautifully. The food was amazing and there was more than enough! A great variety of veggies and salads, delicious perogies, baked potato's with all the fixings. The meatballs were a huge hit. The catering staff was quick and efficient, doing a great job of filling and clearing plates throughout our dinner service. Sam and his team did everything they could to make it an extra special day for us and helped make sure everything ran smoothly. We're very grateful we found Sam and The White Bull to Cater our Wedding!

Great family place to eat/drink

We visited this lovely village pub after a family day out. Our family of 7 and our dog were all made feel extremely welcome by both staff and locals. We ordered and while waiting for our food we're able to enjoy some drinks from the bar as well as games made available like jenga, playing cards and a pool table. The food was absolutely delicious and definitely value for money with plenty to choose from. The outdoor area was beautiful with plenty of seating beside a beautiful canal. The staff here deserve a mention as nothing was to much trouble for them... Any request was met with a warm smile and all the help we could ask for. We will be returning here the next time we are in town without a doubt and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice meal or a few drinks in the area.

Sam was phenomenal to deal with from our first meeting right until the end of our wedding. He gave us so much advice and insight into the planning of meals and also tips on our wedding in general! When it came to our wedding day we got appetizers during the day while our guests played lawn games and he was so personable to all our guests. He walked around outside serving each guest and provided everyone with fantastic appies before dinner. Dinner was the highlight of the evening and we had so many guests comment on how amazing the food was and how Sam added so much to the overall experience. Not only was the food delicious, the service and energy Sam brought was one of a kind. They also catered to all our dietary restrictions for the guests and did so perfectly. Our midnight lunch was handmade margarita pizzas. They went through the effort to walk around inside and outside to hall to ensure everyone was served. We felt at ease before and during our wedding knowing Sam and his team had it perfectly organized. I would highly recommend talking with the white bull for a catering event as there is so much flexibility to have exactly what you want and be confident their team will provide great food and service.

Sam and his team were extremely professional and did everything to make our day perfect. We chose to have a burger bar and I cannot say how delicious everything was. We have a few family members who have dietary issues and they made sure we had everything we needed to make sure everyone could enjoy their meal. We would absolutely recommend the White Bull for any services you may need. They did an amazing job and went above and beyond all expectations

Sam and his staff catered my daughters outdoor wedding. Wedding planning can be stressful and the food is a very important part of it. Coming from a greek family, I am used to having plenty of delicious food around, and making sure there was enough for all of our guests to be full and satisfied, was very important to us. Sam and his staff assured me that we would definitely not run out of food and that the food would be fresh, hot, locally sourced and delicious. We were not disappointed. The staff set up their tables the night before (they provided everything they needed) and arrived on time for the wedding supper and fully prepared to serve up a great meal. They provided real plates and silverware as well as letting us use their wine glasses for our 75 guests. The food was amazing and everyone commented on how good it was and how great Sam and his staff were. They frequently went around to all the guests ensuring that they had enough food, offering more and clearing away plates promptly. After everyone had their fill, they packaged up all of the leftover food and left it for us to enjoy later. There was tons of leftovers, not because the food wasn't good, but because they provided so much of it. If they cater your event, you won't have to worry about running out of anything. Thank you Sam and your staff for the excellent food and service. You will definitely be the caterer I call if I ever need to plan another event!
