Give Evelyn's High River a try- you'll be glad you did!

My husband and I enjoyed an 'out of this world' lunch! I had what might well be the most amazing mushroom soup and my husband really enjoyed a 'Bird' (sandwich on glorious home-made bread!). The restaurant was homey ,even had a train running around the...top of the wall, spotless and more than welcoming. We treated ourselves to a real milkshake ( not machine ejection) for dessert. The meal was certainly worth the price! Besure to look out for the gal with the amazing smile. You'll know her immediately--the smile lights up the whole room!More

The best food EVER!

Highly recomended you stopping to eat here. All homecooked meals and sandwiches. You get the 70s 80s vibes as soon as you walk in the door, it actually felt like I was in the movie Grease! Super friendly staff, amazing prices, and great entertainment with...the old jukeboxes at every booth/table.More

Fantastic food - we love Evelyn's

We had lunch at Evelyn's a few times during our recent holiday in Alberta. We had been there the last time we were in Canada so we're looking forward to a return visit, and weren't disappointed. Fresh & Tasty

50's style diner complete with juke box @ booths. I had Hutterite chicken sandwich with cranberries made on fresh homemade grain bread. Delicious! The other ladies had reuben, quiche, and born again sandwiches. All sandwiches served with a choice of 3 salads. I took my...salad home for supper as the sandwich was huge and filling. Definitely no room for dessert but we all looked at the dessert display and salivated!More

So good!

The food at Evelyn's was excellent. I had the black forest ham sandwich and chicken noodle soup....so delious! Staff was extremely helpful and friendly!

Incredible fresh food

Never a bad meal....and always excellent service. I always drive 35 minutes to have lunch and never disappointed. The Owner is Hubert and is an absolute delight to visit with. Love the food....just love it. I have brought numerous people here and all have been...duly impressed. Zale ZeviarMore

Excellent customer service & homemade deliciousness in a fun atmosphere!

Lunch out with the "Golf Girls" - fun atmosphere, got a booth at lunch time, fast service, delicious quiche (bacon, mushroom & broccoli) with broccoli side salad, followed by strawberry rhubarb pie. The desserts are deliciously tasty & HUGE! .. needed a to-go container. Excellent,...friendly customer service from Morgan & Naiomi. 😁More

Real turkey replaced with Processed meat

I loved Evelyns you could always count on fresh real food. I was shocked to discover they have switched to processed meat. It’s very disappointing to pay $10 for a sandwich with processed turkey. Please change it back to the real thing, you are known...for your quality please don’t sacrifice it.More

High River Delight

Found this place through a TripAdvisor search. The name was slightly obstructed by the trees. We Google searched it and found we were standing beside it 😂. Greeted with a very friendly hello and seated ourselves. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. The...food was fresh and tasty and nicely presented. I’m glad we went out of our usual way when we are headed south. We will return again with more family.More

Amazing food

We went to Evelyn's for a nice lunch after ridding the red arrow bus we ordered a nice sandwich it was so tasty and even had home-made ice cream

5-star food takeout

The tourtiere we ordered at Christmas was delicious! The filling was savoury and the crust was flaky and crisp. It came with cranberry chutney and pickled melon for condiments, both of which were excellent. I wanted more of both, they were so good. A list...of ingredients were included as were baking instructions. Ordering was easy. Pickup was done safely.More

Beauty lunches

Great place

The food is totally the best ...everything is homemade and made fresh to order. The menu has an array of options from soup to sandwiches as well as others items. Desserts are plentiful and very good. The staff definitely like working here as they are...extremely friendly and helpful making sure everything is right and people are happy with their meals. It is a great place to stop for a hearty brunch or lunch. I definitely recommend Evelyn's to anyone.More

Visited for Lunch

My wife and I had lunch here in January 2020. It has a great atmosphere and the staff were super friendly. The food portions were large and the quality was very good. Very busy over lunch time but staff did a super job. Inside the...diner is cool with older items. Food was AMAZING and so was the desert. Would return for sure.More
