The food is quite good BUT ... Their operating hours are not good for couples dating or for weary travellers spending the night in town. This place is for young local families and old people having a night out away from the nursing home. You...have to be there before 6:30 or you will not feel welcome by the time you're finished. If you show up after 7:00 you will not finish your relaxing night out before they start asking you to lift your feet so they can sweep the floor around you. They will make you feel rushed and unwelcome. The sign says they're open until 8 but I think they mean they slam the door shut, turn the key and lock it at 8 and go home. I've got news for you folks. That's not what open until 8 means. Open until 8 means 8 is when you admit your last customers. Like most evening diners, I'm not 8 years old and I'm also not 80 years old so I never eat at 6 and neither do dating couples or travellers passing through. If you want to lock the doors at 8 then repost your hours properly, which would be "open until 6:30". Please give people some time to relax and enjoy their evening without you shooing them out. I would have given you a higher rating but this is now the third time I've been made to feel unwelcome. That's my bad. I should have remembered after the second time.More

We went to Castle last night for dinner. We ordered Mediterranean mushroom caps, liver & onions and Fish / chips. It was fairly busy and our waitress seemed to be serving most of the patrons. The mushroom caps arrived and had it not been for...the lemon we drizzled on them there would have little or no flavour. The mozzarella covering the caps was sort of dry and gritty - the dish was generally not very nice. My wife’s liver dish was quite good, tender-tasty-etc. When I saw my fish and chips, the dark brown colour of the fish indicated An over heated deep fryer. The batter was very crunchy - bordering on burned and disappointingly the fries were overcooked and dried out as well. Being hungry I choked down my meal vowing that when asked about the meal to voice my displeasure to the the waitress. I wasn’t asked. Maybe she saw the meal for what it was? This was our second visit to Castle and my wife’s third. The other times things were pretty good. I’ve noticed many good reviews for Castle and possibly this led to an unexpectedly busy night for them as the service was lacking and that plate of fish and chips should have never left the kitchen.More

Great food (especially the fries!), great people, great atmosphere. Can't recommend this place enough. If you like a lot of spice, get the jerk chicken sandwich.

Stopped for dinner, we were seated quickly and our drink order was taken, we felt our server was very efficient and helpful and our food arrived hot and fast . I would suggest you bring a heathly appetite as the portions are quite large. We...enjoyed our meal and never felt rushed or neglected and would return in the futureMore

This was one of my favorite places at one time. But now it isn't. The last time we went, the smell of garlic was overwhelming. I like garlic but this was so strong. They had just finished a buffet and the meal we got was...okay but nothing fantastic. All of it was laced with garlic, strong garlic. I would go back again, as it wasn't too bad, but I have family members that would never go back. I say take a chance, and give them a try. I could have been an off day. Prior to that day in their old location, it was fabulous food.More

Stopped in here to have dinner before going to the Manluk to see a play. Was just what we wanted... Service was timely, staff was friendly. It’s advertised as a steak house - we didn’t order steak - chicken was great. Not fancy - but...perfect for what we were looking for. Would return.More

The food here is hot and tasty and the service is excellent. However, I have rated it 4 out of 5 stars because of the habit they have of addressing me as "My Dear." Might I add they only call older ladies this, not any...man that I have heard. Men are called "Sir." I feel this is demeaning and totally unnecessary. Right now, this type of condescending speech is becoming more and more unacceptable. So if you are a man, or like being called "My Dear" this is a great place to eat.More

Hubby and I enjoyed our dinner at Castle and were happy to see that the food quality, and quantity was the same as we were used to in their former building. Good service. More open and spacious dining area.

Took my family of 5 for brunch on sunday the 17th. It was fantastic. The BBQ Smoked ribs were so tender, the food was all amazing. The chicken on the buffet was so good we all had seconds. Been a loyal customer since they opened!...Never disappointed.More

Everything we had off the menu was absolutely delicious! Zucchini sticks came with real homemade tzatiki, the vegetable stir fry came as a nice big portion and the vegetables and rice were bursting with flavour. The chicken fettuccine had the most deliciously rich cream sauce...with tasty additions of ham and mushrooms. Everything we had was cooked to perfection! Our server was friendly, hard working, knew the menu well and was able to answer questions about meals with honest, non-generic, helpful replies.More

This is a restaurant that I decided to go to based on a friends request. My husband and I did so, and found it was much better than we had thought. It was nicely decorated, Knight style, and there were already many people there. It...was really good food! The atmosphere was warm and inviting too. The food too a bit longer to get to us, but, then again, that’s what phones are for. Easy to find since they moved. And the portions were much larger than I expected. Great food! Great place! Highly recommend it.More

I was meeting a friend who lives in Wetaskiwin and she’s raved about this restaurant. Arriving a few minutes early, I had a friendly greeting and was seated immediately as it wasn’t busy. I was impressed with their menu prices, which seemed very reasonable. Everything...was fine until my meal arrived ... I could tell immediately my burgers weren’t homemade but frozen, preformed and from a box. Yuck, that’s the best way to describe them! Not even cheese and bacon could improve things. Very disappointed with my meal so I can’t rate this place higher.More

They do have Sunday branches I believe that they are priced at $17/ person. You may want to contact the restaurant further to make sure that the price above is still accurate.
