This was one of my favorite places at one time. But now it isn't. The last time we went, the smell of garlic was overwhelming. I like garlic but this was so strong. They had just finished a buffet and the meal we got was...okay but nothing fantastic. All of it was laced with garlic, strong garlic. I would go back again, as it wasn't too bad, but I have family members that would never go back. I say take a chance, and give them a try. I could have been an off day. The food here is hot and tasty and the service is excellent. However, I have rated it 4 out of 5 stars because of the habit they have of addressing me as "My Dear." Might I add they only call older ladies this, not any...man that I have heard. Men are called "Sir." I feel this is demeaning and totally unnecessary. Right now, this type of condescending speech is becoming more and more unacceptable. So if you are a man, or like being called "My Dear" this is a great place to eat.More

Another wonderful meal! . We started off our meal with the clam chowder soup and had the Veal Cordon Blue and it was so good. Service was great and everyone is always so friendly. Definitely will be returning!

Hubby and I enjoyed our dinner at Castle and were happy to see that the food quality, and quantity was the same as we were used to in their former building. Good service. More open and spacious dining area.

Took my family of 5 for brunch on sunday the 17th. It was fantastic. The BBQ Smoked ribs were so tender, the food was all amazing. The chicken on the buffet was so good we all had seconds. Been a loyal customer since they opened!...Never disappointed.More

Everything we had off the menu was absolutely delicious! Zucchini sticks came with real homemade tzatiki, the vegetable stir fry came as a nice big portion and the vegetables and rice were bursting with flavour. The chicken fettuccine had the most deliciously rich cream sauce...with tasty additions of ham and mushrooms. Everything we had was cooked to perfection! This is a restaurant that I decided to go to based on a friends request. My husband and I did so, and found it was much better than we had thought. It was nicely decorated, Knight style, and there were already many people there. It...was really good food! The atmosphere was warm and inviting too. The food too a bit longer to get to us, but, then again, that’s what phones are for. Easy to find since they moved. And the portions were much larger than I expected. Great food! Great place! I was meeting a friend who lives in Wetaskiwin and she’s raved about this restaurant. Arriving a few minutes early, I had a friendly greeting and was seated immediately as it wasn’t busy. I was impressed with their menu prices, which seemed very reasonable. Everything...was fine until my meal arrived ... I could tell immediately my burgers weren’t homemade but frozen, preformed and from a box. Yuck, that’s the best way to describe them! Not even cheese and bacon could improve things. I live in wetaskiwin and dine at castle at least twice a month the food is great as well as the prices and the staff do a wonderful job.i have been to huckleberry and it is to pricey and I found the food very average....Glad to have castle open again.More
