We stopped here for lunch and to pick up plants during our road trip. It’s totally worth visiting! They have a big store with lots of produce and some local items (like honey). Sandwiches can be made fresh to order. We got some beautiful flowers...and veggie starts as well.More
This is a great place to stop and have a freshly made sandwich with pie and ice cream for dessert. You can eat on a covered patio that overlooks their farm with hills in the background. Very good selection of produce and farmer’s market type...products. Good place to stop and stretch your legs and smell sone fresh air.More
Staff not wearing masks or disposable gloves when serving food and no visible sign of sanitizing areas. Bottle of sanitizer (?) left outside on tables for WHO to use, the customer?
Staff not interested in offering service.
I basically felt ignored, rushed and faced with...indifference, which was highly offensive to me. I wanted a refund prior to food prepared but clerk behind counter didn't know how to process a refund and blankly stared at debit machine.
Very pricey soup and sandwich - soup came cold and the meager amount of chicken salad was a poor excuse of a sandwich for me! I did not mention anything about this to staff, because by the time I left totally exasperated, I didn't feel like being treated with more indifference.More
Meals are always fresh, always smiling faces. When we are heading south, the route must always encompass Cache Creek, for a visit to Horstings. Baked goods always have the taste buds craving the next bite.
Horstings Farm Market is a necessary stop for anyone travelling north through BC's interior. The homemade soup and sandwiches will leave your stomach full, and the bakery selection is always top notch! The food is definitely worth the journey, and the staff are always friendly!
