This diner and our story is one of the highlights of our 8 week trip across the U.S. and Canada with our teardrop camper as we visited friends and family on our permanent move from Southern Minnesota to Alaska. This was in July of 2017 during the historic wildfires in British Columbia that caused us to take a 300 mile detour through Alberta to get to Dawson Creek! (This site doesn't let us check the real date we were there and Covid-19 questions also don't apply then) We saw the dinner as we first came into town via route #2 from Grande Cache, AL where we had camped on our detour around the wildfires. We noted it for a later meal. After checking in to the Mile 0 campground, we drove around a bit and then had dinner at the diner and really enjoyed both the food and atmosphere. We stayed in town for two nights. The next day we did our laundry in a Laundromat across the highway from the dinner, where we noticed they were setting up an outdoor stage. By the time our clothes were in the drier and we were setting outside at a picnic table we saw and heard on their PA system, the "Elvis Impersonator" who that by that time had started to put on a show! As our clothes dried, we sat back at the table and enjoyed our first Elvis concert! It was great! Before we left on our journey up the ALCON the next day, we stopped again and had breakfast! Again, one of the many highlights of our epic trip!

I was roaming around Dawson and passed by this diner. One of my colleagues recommended me to try so I did. First and foremost the ambience gives you an old school 50's vibes! They're even playing Elvis songs in the background. I ordered their classic burger with fries. Man they serve big! The portions is good enough for 2 people which I appreciate the good value for money compared to other resto that I tried. Its a smashed burger patty and I can say its homemade. Its juicy and flavorful. The fries are crispy and well seasoned. Service is good as well. Staff are friendly and attending to your needs. By the time of writing this is my 3rd time eating there and it never fails me to disappoint. Will definitely be back again as I consider this now as my comfort food.

Drove from GP to Dawson to meet friends, and met at Stuie's Diner. This place was fabulous, food was awesome, the place was impeccable, lots of cool pictures, milkshakes are unreal, and the best part, was the service. These people know how to treat a guest. Recommend the drive anytime.

We stopped in before a concert to have dinner. The place was busy but we found a table right away. The food was very good. I would have preferred home cut fries but considering the prices I was ok with them. The milkshake was delicious and the service was good. I would go again.

Stopped in for breakfast on our way to Alaska. A delightful setting filled with Elvis memorabilia and wonderful, friendly service! The omelette breakfast special was enormous and delicious! A real 50’s diner experience brought to 2022!!! Stop in if you are in Dawson Creek, you will be happy you did!

Breakfast was exceptional for a very reasonable price. Couldn't believe the quality and amount of bacon. Coffee was excellent. Server was pleasant. We will be back!

This was the perfect spot to take a break from the grueling 10 hour drive. We totally stopped in because of the decor and sign and were rewarded with good food as well as a fun relaxing place to take a break. The staff was super nice and the meals were large and fresh. I opted out of a shake but discovered on check out they are old fashion style and hand blended in the metal tins.

Always two homemade soups, served with a biscuit, a selection of pies and arguably the best fries in town. Not much choice in salads and veg. but several choices for sandwiches and burgers
