Great pit stop! Fresh seafood, friendly service, beautiful scenery and well worth the detour! We had the oyster burger and 1 lb of clams with garlic butter. I’d pass on the garlic bread next time. Lovely chatting with the owner about the local oyster industry and tips on where to buy the best oysters and clams.

Monica is really friendly and makes fantastic burgers. We live in Fanny Bay, and love the convenience of a short drive to grab some lunch food.
Thanks Monica, we wish you continued success with your food truck.

Out on the end of a Fanny Bay wooden peer just off the Island Hwy 19A on Vancouver Island lies a seriously yummy food truck. Drive past it, and you do at your own peril!
The food is fresh, affordable, delicious and served in abundance with a smile. Whether it’s the cod burger busting out of a bun filled with your choice of garnish and condiments, or whether it’s the steaming pound of clams dripping with garlic butter or the piping hot clam chowder, this food is awesome.
Lots of other food choices and definitely a place worth stopping at!
Ps... Don’t forget to bring your appetite and sit awhile... the eagles and harbour seals love this place too!

Was a great experience. Lots to see. Great food. Not fast food made while you wait but very good. It was a warm day and all diners were looking for shade. We would return. Lots for the kids to see and explore. Great location.

On the water, on the pier, nice seats, and picnic table. Monica does it all - cooking, cashiering, advising - and her food is awesome. And she is a sweetheart. All out of a "fancy" food truck. People who live across the street/hiway were having lunch there. We ordered two Oyster Club Wraps - divine. $ 8.50 each. And we had brought our own wine, which we enjoyed very discreetly with our food. Watched a bald eagle, looked for harbour seals, watched boaters launching, and coming and going. Relaxing, on the water, on the pier. What find!

Fantastic fresh food at great prices. Fast friendly service. (If you're lucky you can see some seals). Oyster club wrap is to die for and the fresh steamed clams are amazing. If you're in Fanny Bay, this is the place to eat!

Monica serves up fresh, reasonably priced and great food!
Her speciality Fanny Bay Oyster club wrap is delicious.
She also offers a full gluten free option and her GF buns are home made.

Well a truck restaurant with outside seating and a bay view to watch the sea lions
Clams were excellant and the shrimp tacos hit the spot. Conversation with the owner was informative

The menu and price point sold us on asking Monica to bring her truck to our beach party. Homemade fruit creamsicles made the rounds to great reviews (blackberry, strawberry, raspberry, pineapple cocoanut). The fish dishes: fish tacos, seafood boil, clams, etc. were all popular and praised. With an espresso machine on board and fun food for kids, there was something for everyone. The only challenge was feeding 40 people when everyone is ready to eat at the same time - prepare to wait for food made to order on the spot. Monica was very careful about food sensitivities, offering a gluten free menu and certain lactose/sugar free treats as well. Her husband gamely assisted with the front end to alleviate the volume. A most pleasant experience. Glad to recommend this food truck!

I was invited by some local ladies to go to lunch on this beautiful summer day. They took me to Fanny Bay Wharf where there was this wonderful little jewel of a food truck called West Coast Breeze. I had the fish cod tacos and they were the best I have ever had. The ingredients were so fresh and the fish was seasoned and grilled beautifully. I had a good look at what the other ladies were eating and everything looked fantastic. The oyster burger and wraps looked delicious and the home made fruit popsicles were to die for.I can't wait to bring my husband here.
The view was fantastic. There are binoculars available for scanning the beautiful water entertainment. Seals, oyster boats coming in and out and lots of boats loading and unloading kept us entertained. The weather was perfect and there are tables in the shade or in the sun. Such a beautiful way to spend the afternoon in the beautiful Fanny Bay.

Imagine ... you are sitting out over the water on a hot summer day. In the background seals are barking, the ocean sparkles and you are surrounded by a quiet, rural landscape. Then, you take a bite of the most delicious burger (beef or veggie) you've ever had. The ciabatta bun is super fresh, the tomato is fresh and the perfect summer, field tomato variety, but the rich/sweet carmelized (sp?) onions make it. The meat is grilled to perfection. To top it off, you order a homemade popsicle/creamsicle - the Chef picked the berries for this treat herself that week. Wow....it was so incredibly tasty.

While staying a night in Fanny Bay we came upon a food truck parked on the Fanny Bay dock. The food was freshly made and tasty. I had an oyster wrap and my wife had a chicken wrap which were both delicious. The lady doing the cooking was friendly and quickly produced our lunch. We indulged in the homemade "popsicles" that were scrumptious and topped off our lunch perfectly. All that while taking in the view and the smell of the ocean. The price was very reasonable .Next trip up island we will be back.
