Everything you want from a coffee shop - lovely cosy interior. Coffees are fab, cookies are great. Lunch was not available the day we visited due to staffing issues (like everywhere), but looked great - wraps, sandwiches, tacos etc. The treats were homemade and excellent.

The staff and owners are very responsive to allergies and diet restrictions and go out of their way to accommodate our needs. We come here once a week for an Americano and lunch. The Americano can be strong but we order 2 shots instead of...4 and its perfect. Our favorite gluten-free lunch is the BRC burrito, served on a gluten free wrap. Served with salsa and sour cream, its mildly spicy and delicious. Best of all, they don't discriminate. And no one is asking for personal health information. On Tuesdays chess, cribbage, and checkers are free to play.More

We happened upon this cafe while driving through Grand Forks. The food and drinks were delicious! We had apple chicken sandwiches and lattes. Everything coming out of the kitchen was fast and looked delicious. We will return the next time we are in the area!

We had the Spinach and Feta Breakfast Wrap. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and eating in the patio was lovely. It didn’t even matter that we had purchased coffee at another place. We were able to have our dog stay...tableside. This is also a game cafe but we didn’t participate in any game play. Well worth eating here.More

We came here for our family day lunch. We enjoy the nachos here. As you can see the portions are pretty good. Was a bit disappointed after spending over thirty dollars for lunch that they charged us $2.50 plus tax for extra salsa. Wouldn't be...quite a slap in the face had the amount of salsa they gave to begin with been large but two half full mini cups and a family sized portion of nachos. Just a bit disappointed :(More

Hey there, That was a mistake on our part. We have some new staff that are still in training and they didn’t know. Please come to the cafe and let us make it right. 🙂

Only had a Canadiano and a scone and they were both substandard! The coffee was acidic and lacked body while the herb& cheese scone was extremely over spiced I might try something off the menu some day but not unless I have no other option

This is a themed Cafe that features all kinds of Board Game!! Soon as you go in your eyes will be overwhelmingly filled with walls and walls of board games, some look familiar, some you want to open and discover right away! Foodwise, it s...a very casual bistro style cafe, famous for their various kinds of hot dogs with interesting toppings. My choice for today: French Onion Dawg! Overflowing with garlic butter, caramelized onions, Monterey Jack, parmesan!! How can it go wrong! I really love their Hot Dawg Buns, its of the texture of a French Brioche!! Village Greek Salad: one word FRESH!! This is a very fun place to be and also if you want to relax and sit outside they have arranged a few patio sets for you!! Oh don't forget to get their Peach Lemonade!More

This quirky little spot is a real gem! The pulled pork sandwich on gluten free bread was one of the best I’ve had anywhere and the homemade iced tea was refreshing.

Sunday afternoon ride for lunch. We were greeted by a friendly clerk and perused the blackboard menu. We decided on one of their "dawgs" and were pleased with the food quality and service. Our sandwich was a Nathan's hot dog with pulled pork and lots...of cheese on a bagel bun. The sandwich comes with chips. The food was tasty and hot. I had iced tea that was sweet and she had berry tea that was infused with fresh berries! Delicious! This is a storefront cafe with outdoor dining if you desire. MANY board games line the walls and can be played in the establishment. New games are also available for purchase. Good, atmosphere, food and service. Orders are taken at the counter and delivered to your tableMore

Travelling to Nelson we stopped both ways to enjoy this amazing place. Really great atmosphere and food. Loved the idea of families sitting and playing games together.

The idea of this place is great! However our meal was small, overpriced and very mediocre. To play one kids game was fairly overpriced& was let down there is no family group rate. Cheaper to play at home with better food.
