We were staying in Sicamous over night due to Hwy 1 being closed due to flooding. We ate inside due to the patio being full but the view was still incredible. Our server was friendly and served us in a timely manner. Call me crazy but I ordered calamari and prawns. I wasn't sure how it would come out but I was bowled over by the flavour. The calamari had a great coating and liked the dip. The prawn dinner was $22 and I received 13 prawns, veggies and basmati rice. The shrimp were tender and sauteed in lemon and herbs as well as feta cheese. My husband had fish and chips and enjoyed them as well. Found the price reasonable, food delicious and the scenery serene. We will be back!

We were there for a quick overnight stay and this place came recommended. Unfortunately, I called and they don't take reservations. So, with limited eating options in a small town we were forced to wait in line for a table. Their lineups and seating system seemed a wee bit chaotic. Lovely location on the water at the marina. We didn't get to sit on the patio as it was full and so we chose indoors as it was quicker. It was very busy. However, I imagine that as a tourist town in the height of summer they are or should be used to this. Being that there are not very many establishments to eat at in Sicamous. Server was very friendly and we had our drinks and order placed very quickly. Then we waited....2 more drinks...still no food. We waited for almost an hour for two salads! The salads were average at best. For 4 drinks and two salads it was over $100 with tip! 😳 We definitely didn't feel this was good value for the money and the almost hour wait for our food may have put a bad taste in our mouth. I expect the same service and food quality in a small town that I would expect anywhere. This time, that expectation was not met unfortunately.

We found that despite the restaurant being very busy, we were able to be seated immediately in the upstairs area. Garrett was an amazing server and although he apologized for our food taking a bit longer to prepare than normal, we found the time went by quickly and hadn’t even noticed. We had the glory bowl which is now my new fav and very tasty and the farmer’s platter which was delicious as well. The NY strawberry cheesecake was shared and was delish! Food reviews are subjective so I would suggest you give Moose Mulligans a try and find out for yourself. Social distancing was practiced and we were very pleased with the overall dining out experience. Thank you!

We were hoping that a local restaurant would have quality food but were very disappointed. As other reviewers have stated, some of the food are pre-packaged, poor quality frozen food. I am not averse to frozen, but at least get some quality ingredients. My son got the kids burger which came with the worst possible quality frozen patty, He said it tasted gross and I didn't even want him to eat it as it looked gross too. The patty was a similar quality as a frozen prepackaged burger from 7-eleven. My husband got the farmers plate which came with regular frozen perogies and a sausage, for $17 we expected something higher quality. I got the mediterrean bowl which was actually decent, best option of the three. The other disappointment was there was no social distancing, everyone was standing side by side waiting to get in and no servers were wearing any masks. I am not a stickler for masks, but when I eat out, would rather servers who are standing right beside and above, wear a mask as they talk to you. I would not recommend this restaurant

One of the few restaurants in Sicamous, sadly, it’s a pass. The food and service has continued to decline for many years now. A busy joint in the summer for boat goers after a long day on the lake, the location has such great potential. But as it is, you can expect a run down bar / restaurant located on the waterfront narrows with boat mooring — short on staff, space, atmosphere, and most importantly, lacking good quality food and service. As a long time visitor to the area every summer, I visit every year with high hopes that the kitchen and service has turned around, but this is not the case. My hungry family of five arrived for dinner today with no lineups, not too busy, and we’re seated promptly in the “family seating area” inside — only to be left for over 45 minutes waiting on our food to arrive and a drink refill. Our food came out, not hot, and not great — thankfully my kids aren’t picky, so at least they were fed. I ordered a Thai peanut salad — with too few greens, too many noodles, precooked chicken, and swimming in bland dressing. The other meals at our table were just “meh”. Our server wasn’t empathetic, did not offer to substitute or reduce our bill, leaving one of us hungry and with a steep bill. Overall, right now, I don’t recommend. I do hope that the new owner (if they find one) will overhaul the space, the kitchen, and service.

We were traveling through and wanted a light dinner in Sicamose We stopped in to Moose Mulligan's. It was busy and only waited 15 minutes to get in. My wife ordered a coconut moose and I ordered a caesar. We were setting outside with a great view of the water bay I ordered a grilled chicken club and my wife ordered the Greek prawns. Both were great Josie gave great service This Restaurant is a water front with great views and ambitious Would recommend this place

I’d been here before a few years back and was impressed with the food so decided on a return visit. It really is in a stunning location. I got a table and was served quickly by a very friendly and welcoming server (though the number of times they checked on me during dinner bordered on excessive). I ordered a local IPA and fish taco appetiser, and chicken banh mi with yam fries for main. Unfortunately the server came back to say the main was not available so I went for one of the specials instead - a pizza with loads of different types of mushrooms. The beer was good and so were the tacos, with well-cooked fish (but not homemade salsa). The pizza was pretty poor. It tasted okay but the base was doughy and soggy, giving it very little integrity and making it hard to eat without a knife and fork as the topping would slide off. On the plus side the portion size was huge and I took half with me in a box. Not as good as my last visit but maybe not such a good choice of dish. Still a great place to visit.

I reviewed this about 5 years ago and said at that time, judging by other reviews, we must have hit it on a good day. Well, we have been back several times since then and haven't hit an off day yet. The view is always good and the food very reliable. Localish (Revelstoke) beer available on tap. If you live in the area it is worth going to and if you are traveling along the T-Can it is a great stopping point for lunch.

We have been to this establishment a few times now since coming to the area on May 1, 2022. We are here for the summer working and have to make a trip in weekly to Sicamous. We try a visit during those trips to have a well cooked meal. My wife is celiac and their gluten free options are great (though limited) and the staff are very accommodating as well with requests whenever possible. I also have a service dog and staff have also gone out of their way to ensure we have a good place to sit to accommodate Jessie and make us feel welcome. Some of the menu items we have tried are: fish and chips, gluten free grilled chicken club burger, chicken wings, baked French onion soup, mussels, buffalo chicken burger, and Caesar salad. Would love to see them expand on their gluten free options such as a gluten free batter for fish and chips and a dedicated fryer to avoid cross contamination. We will continue to frequent this establishment and also recommend that visitors also visit the attached public market. Great gluten free pies and delicious ice cream.

This restaurant is pub style, we managed a table on the deck which is large and very nice. Our waiter was terrific, efficient and lots of fun. All 3 of us had steak sandwiches, my steak was very good but the other 2 were very tough, the chips and Caesar salad were very good. Because the steaks were so tough we were given a complimentary dessert, thankyou MM. We will be back.

Came here for lunch on our way from Alberta to Vancouver Island. Atmosphere was great, our waitress was fun, and the pizza was delicious. The 3 star rating is because we waited over an hour for our 2 pizzas. After being told multiple times “they are just coming out”. Then we were told that they were just coming back from the store and it would be another 20 mins. I was disappointed when the bill came and we still paid full price for everything. 4 other tables came in after us, ordered - ate - and left, before we got our food. Todays lunch was a disappointment only because of the long wait time, the minimal communication from the staff, and there being no attempt to offer a discount. I’d love to come back next time we are in the area and give them another try, because as I stated above the waitress was enjoyable and the pizza - minus the frustrating wait was very yummy.

We were excited to support local and not a chain. But surprised none of the servers were wearing masks given the current Covid climate. The service was fast. I ordered the glory bowl that was okay but the chicken was definitely not a fresh chicken breast. It was either pre packaged from a bag or frozen. It was rubbery and gross. I didn’t eat it, it was so unappetizing. My husband had a buffalo chicken wrap, same type of chicken. He did like that the hot sauce wasn’t so overpowering that’s all you tasted. We thought it was a bit overpriced for what you got. We wouldn’t go back.

While we were there quite early in “the season” you could imagine how popular the patio would be on a beautiful summer day with boats cruising between aMara and Sicamous lakes! The service was good and lots of selection on the menu. I had the Glory Bowl which was full of fresh ingredients and nicely grilled chicken. My husband had the Dougie Burger and fries which he enjoyed. Good spot for a bite with a view.

During our stay in Sicamous, we visited this restaurant twice for lunch. Our first visit was from a recommendation given by a friendly local who gave us directions as well as positive remarks about it. On this visit, my sister and I shared a very good poutine and tasty New York Cheesecake. On the second visit, I opted for the poutine again and my sister had fish tacos. Both meals were great. We found that the service was prompt and the wait staff helpful as well as friendly both times. Large table umbrellas provided protection from the sun and kept us cool. We sat on the patio each time and watched boaters, paddle boarders and other types of watercraft. When in Sicamous, this eatery is a must-do.
