We really wanted to like this place and somethings were pretty good. The food-not so much. Some of the servers looked like they were working in a brothel. Others were fine. I can appreciate this is a small town so hiring may be an issue....Atmosphere was nice.More

The waitress was super nice BUT food took over 1 .5 hours and then hair was literally in the first bite! The offered to comp some of the drinks but failed to actually check the bill and charged for food we never got! Such a...disappointment!More

One of the few restaurants in Sicamous, sadly, it’s a pass. The food and service has continued to decline for many years now. A busy joint in the summer for boat goers after a long day on the lake, the location has such great potential....But as it is, you can expect a run down bar / restaurant located on the waterfront narrows with boat mooring — short on staff, space, atmosphere, and most importantly, lacking good quality food and service. As a long time visitor to the area every summer, I visit every year with high hopes that the kitchen and service has turned around, but this is not the case. My hungry family of five arrived for dinner today with no lineups, not too busy, and we’re seated promptly in the “family seating area” inside — only to be left for over 45 minutes waiting on our food to arrive and a drink refill. Our food came out, not hot, and not great — thankfully my kids aren’t picky, so at least they were fed. I ordered a Thai peanut salad — with too few greens, too many noodles, precooked chicken, and swimming in bland dressing. The other meals at our table were just “meh”. Our server wasn’t empathetic, did not offer to substitute or reduce our bill, leaving one of us hungry and with a steep bill. Overall, right now, I don’t recommend. I do hope that the new owner (if they find one) will overhaul the space, the kitchen, and service.More

Came here for lunch on our way from Alberta to Vancouver Island. Atmosphere was great, our waitress was fun, and the pizza was delicious. The 3 star rating is because we waited over an hour for our 2 pizzas. After being told multiple times “they...are just coming out”. Then we were told that they were just coming back from the store and it would be another 20 mins. I was disappointed when the bill came and we still paid full price for everything. 4 other tables came in after us, ordered - ate - and left, before we got our food. Todays lunch was a disappointment only because of the long wait time, the minimal communication from the staff, and there being no attempt to offer a discount. I’d love to come back next time we are in the area and give them another try, because as I stated above the waitress was enjoyable and the pizza - minus the frustrating wait was very yummy.More

We drive 30 minutes to get there and snatched the last available parking spot. We were appointed a table inside as outside was too full. The table had a lot of flies flying around. We ordered our drinks and foods and had to wait for...over 90 minutes to get our food! They could see our kids slowly gliding to sleep. When we asked our waiter when to expect the food she was blaming the kitchen, but never once did she check on it by herself. We could see the kitchen was super slow, but we were debating if our kids could make it. When the food finally showed up my husband steak was not cooked to his required temp. It was tasty food, but not worth the long wait. The kids ended up not eating much at all as it was too late for them. When my husband paid the suggested tips started at 20%, 25%. Due to the long wait he adjusted this. You could see our waiter not being happy about it. Well blame the kitchen dear, our experience was not ok. Seeing people getting food that have been waiting long but a lot shorter then you doesn't help. Great place, ok food but they should be telling no to people when they know they can't handle it.More

During our stay in Sicamous, we visited this restaurant twice for lunch. Our first visit was from a recommendation given by a friendly local who gave us directions as well as positive remarks about it. On this visit, my sister and I shared a very...good poutine and tasty New York Cheesecake. On the second visit, I opted for the poutine again and my sister had fish tacos. Both meals were great. We found that the service was prompt and the wait staff helpful as well as friendly both times. Large table umbrellas provided protection from the sun and kept us cool. We sat on the patio each time and watched boaters, paddle boarders and other types of watercraft. When in Sicamous, this eatery is a must-do.More

We have been to this establishment a few times now since coming to the area on May 1, 2022. We are here for the summer working and have to make a trip in weekly to Sicamous. We try a visit during those trips to have...a well cooked meal. My wife is celiac and their gluten free options are great (though limited) and the staff are very accommodating as well with requests whenever possible. I also have a service dog and staff have also gone out of their way to ensure we have a good place to sit to accommodate Jessie and make us feel welcome. Some of the menu items we have tried are: fish and chips, gluten free grilled chicken club burger, chicken wings, baked French onion soup, mussels, buffalo chicken burger, and Caesar salad. Would love to see them expand on their gluten free options such as a gluten free batter for fish and chips and a dedicated fryer to avoid cross contamination. We will continue to frequent this establishment and also recommend that visitors also visit the attached public market. Great gluten free pies and delicious ice cream.More

I reviewed this about 5 years ago and said at that time, judging by other reviews, we must have hit it on a good day. Well, we have been back several times since then and haven't hit an off day yet. The view is always...good and the food very reliable. Localish (Revelstoke) beer available on tap. If you live in the area it is worth going to and if you are traveling along the T-Can it is a great stopping point for lunch.More

I’d been here before a few years back and was impressed with the food so decided on a return visit. It really is in a stunning location. I got a table and was served quickly by a very friendly and welcoming server (though the number...of times they checked on me during dinner bordered on excessive). I ordered a local IPA and fish taco appetiser, and chicken banh mi with yam fries for main. Unfortunately the server came back to say the main was not available so I went for one of the specials instead - a pizza with loads of different types of mushrooms. The beer was good and so were the tacos, with well-cooked fish (but not homemade salsa). The pizza was pretty poor. It tasted okay but the base was doughy and soggy, giving it very little integrity and making it hard to eat without a knife and fork as the topping would slide off. On the plus side the portion size was huge and I took half with me in a box. Not as good as my last visit but maybe not such a good choice of dish. Still a great place to visit.More

Was so happy with this restaurant. When first pulled up out front was unsure of what we were going to get, once we were inside and Happily greeted our minds began to change, Our waitress Was excellent and service was spot on. All our food...was pub style and we were not disappointed. We ate on the patio our looking over a marina in the narrows of sicamous and shuswap lake and was a beautiful evening. Would definitely stop in again when in the area and thanks again to our awesome our 🇳🇿 waitress and keep up the excellent service and setting cheersMore
