We stumbled upon this excellent cafe on our travels. I wish we lived closer. It has such great food, it was the best meal on our trip. We think their veggie burgers might be Whitewater Veggie burgers recipe, but that is ok because it was...delicious. Playing homage to Nelson! Nice. If we ever travel up to Smithers again we will be back!More
Order the scrambled eggs with toast. Seriously. The eggs are fluffy, tasty, and very filling, but the toast, OMG the toast is to die for. A big slab of a delicious, dense salty-sweet raisin bread dripping with butter. It's heavenly. Also, the orange juice is...honestly fresh squeezed, as in they juice the oranges only once you've ordered it (not for people who don't like pulp in their juice though). Great little breakfast spot!More
Very rude customer service and the order was lucking ingredients. Make sure to check your order before leaving. Or better, just don’t go there and save your money and time.More

Hi there - sorry to hear you were unhappy. I don't recall any customer complaints since we reopened in January. Did you let anyone know that day that you didn't get what you asked for? If so, I'd like to hear how it was handled....More
Ate here for lunch and it was amazing!
I had the beef dip. Something I never order but thought I would try it. The sandwich itself was very good. Melted cheese and beef on a soft bun. The highlights were the honey curry dressing on...the accompanying salad and the au jus which was an incredibly flavourful onion broth. Not going to lie, I drank the entire thing!
My companion had the daily special quinoa bowl and she raved about it.
Limited seating and they should ditch the fuzzy chair covers during CoVid as they don’t stay on anyway.
I wanted to try this place out because I’ve heard so much about it. The food was pretty good but the prices were much too high for the serving sizes. A kids grilled cheese was $8 and it came with one segment of orange and...a few grapes for the “side of fruit”. My family of three had a $40 food bill without any drinks and we left hungry. It was a busy place at lunch hour so clearly very popular with the locals. The decor is lovely, but the long common tables make for an awkward arrangement when trying to seat our group of six. We were lucky some people were leaving when we arrived. It also felt quite hectic getting in line to order food. Not at all a relaxing dining experience. I’ve tried it now, but I can’t say it’s on my list of places to go when in Smithers.More

Hi there - we don't often hear that we've overpriced, but the odd time that we do, we like to remind people that our ingredients stand out from other restaurants in Smithers. We use local & organic as much as possible. Our chicken, turkey, eggs,...More
