A very unique spot to visit. Cosy bookstore cafe with soo much more to offer. Simple, mainly vegetarian fare. All food ismade in house and is totally delicious. Including excellent chai, brewed in house, and served with a smile and wit. A hub of artsy...folk, who hang out for the ambiance, company and conversations.More
i really enjoyed this book store as it was so much more than books, i appreciated how they had rare, out of print used and collectors books in stock! especially on the history of first nations Absolutely Loved it and the customer service was great!
Quaint, cluttered, and full of unusual finds. A coffee area, bulk specialty tea, and jewelry along with shelves of books, most of which are used, but some books are new. I found books a little pricey for their condition and availability. Paperback titles that had...seen better days were priced at half their original price and even higher, but if it's the only show in town you put up with it. The proprietor gets A+ for service because the internet machine gave trouble and she put a lot of effort into getting it serviced online so I could buy my books.More
I was recently in Smithers for a week while my boys went skiing. I do not ski so was looking for a place to spend time during the day while they were all on the hill. Found this place and was very happy! Janet is...awesome. The atmosphere here was very relaxed and friendly. The chai is the best there is and her apple pie is sin on plate. If you are looking for a relaxing to hang out and meet some locals this is your spot.More
