Lots of great used books and a nice cafe too. Owner was helpful and friendly and seemed happy we came it. Felt welcome!

We loved our stop here. Specialty coffee and tea drinks made to order with a few choices of treats to go with it. What is better is the unique cozy feel and exploring the shelves of second hand books.

A very unique spot to visit. Cosy bookstore cafe with soo much more to offer. Simple, mainly vegetarian fare. All food ismade in house and is totally delicious. Including excellent chai, brewed in house, and served with a smile and wit. A hub of artsy...folk, who hang out for the ambiance, company and conversations.More

A lovely quant coffee shop, book store combo. Lovely knick knacks and accoutrements. The best chai tea I've had outside an Indian restaurant.

Having grown up in this little shop, it has a special place in my heart. It is wonderful to see how many others appreciate the magic that is woven there every day ~*~

i really enjoyed this book store as it was so much more than books, i appreciated how they had rare, out of print used and collectors books in stock! especially on the history of first nations Absolutely Loved it and the customer service was great!

I've stopped by ME a number of times and enjoyed their coffee. The shop is tiny and smells of patcoulie of some other hippie essential oil. It is a haunt of the vegan crowd and serves good coffee.

This is a combination used book store and funky little coffee shop. There are limited seats and tables, but if you want to join the locals for coffee, a snack and a chat, this is the place to visit.

Quaint, cluttered, and full of unusual finds. A coffee area, bulk specialty tea, and jewelry along with shelves of books, most of which are used, but some books are new. I found books a little pricey for their condition and availability. Paperback titles that had...seen better days were priced at half their original price and even higher, but if it's the only show in town you put up with it. The proprietor gets A+ for service because the internet machine gave trouble and she put a lot of effort into getting it serviced online so I could buy my books.More

I was recently in Smithers for a week while my boys went skiing. I do not ski so was looking for a place to spend time during the day while they were all on the hill. Found this place and was very happy! Janet is...awesome. The atmosphere here was very relaxed and friendly. The chai is the best there is and her apple pie is sin on plate. If you are looking for a relaxing to hang out and meet some locals this is your spot.More
