Verticl cafe is a great place with such friendly staff who make it a great way to start the morning. There cinnamon buns are a must if you come to sun peaks only trouble is how addictive they are. Won't find a better place in...sun peaks. Also great covid precautions is a bonusMore

My family and I have seasons passes and are new in 2020 to Kamloops and to Sun Peaks as our “go to” ski spot! Since relocating we have been looking for good Vegan food spots, the Vertical Cafe has been our one spot to grab...a ton of Vegan and gluten free foods. The family run business is amazing, you can tasted their passion in the food and in talking with the owner you can see why they are so involved. The service and hospitality has been amazing every time we visit for lunch with a huge selection of main dishes, treats and quick snacks. Our children who are not Vegan love the options for a delicious lunch stop! I highly recommend a visit and suggest to try; “the pulse” as an amazing falafel wrap!More

Thanks Andrew! We look forward to seeing you and the family on weekends. Our Pulse Wrap has been our best seller this winter season. The in house scratch madefalafel with the Smoked Curry Hummus from “Local Pulse” in Kamloops makes this wrap stand out. Next...More

Glad you enjoy the vegan/vegetarian options. When we created our new menu we worked hard to have vegan/vegetarian options to go with our regular menu. Our hero with local meats has vegan option in the grinder. The Po Boy has a vegan option in the...More

Top notch food and service. Tons of vegan/vegetarian and gluten free options. Everything homemade and I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Highly recommended. We are going back today!

Glad you enjoyed our local freshness. It’s our goal to be more than a cafe. Our local partners our a part of us. More like family.

We stayed in Sun Peaks for 3 days. During our stay we had our breakfast from Vertical Cafe everyday because it was so good. The cafe opens early at 7:00 am. The staff is very friendly and has taken necessary Covid measures. The indoor place...is small so they ask you to wait outside where there are tables and overhead heaters. We got avocado toast which was extremely delicious. The Scrambler with tofu was vegan, tasty and filling. My husband loved the cheese bagels as well. The cafe serves lunch and dinner as well. I certainly recommend this place. I will definitely visit the cafe again for more delicious food during my next visit.More

Best Chai Tea on the mountain. Their new Avocado Mixed Berry muffin is delicious and moist. It is a surprising treat. And to top it off, amazing icing to finish it off! A definite place to visit!

It's a great little cafe and seating is limited to outside these days. It wasn't a problem for us as we always did takeaways. The selection of BF eats is quite good but our favourite is the "Classic Bagel" that comes with bacon, egg, cheese...with mayo. The steamed milk, hot choco and coffees are excellent as usual. They close quite "early" but we had a couple of after-ski hot drinks and cookies which is a great way to end a "hard" day on the hills.More

Glad you enjoyed our fresh classic bagel. We pride ourselves or scratch cooking and focus on local sourcing. We have had to suspend our indoor seating with Covid to ensure our guests and team are safe. We have installed infrared outdoor heating. We are the...More

Ever since Rob and Tania took over the cafe, the food and drink have improved so much. Previously, I never ate here, and when I did it was disappointing, now it's one of my favourite spots for a coffee and lunch. The extensive vegetarian menu...is really appreciated and it's all great. Tania's recipes are to die for and it is such a friendly place even when swamped with customers. All the staff are so lovely, accommodating and kind. And if you're lucky you might be able to snag a cinnamon bun straight out of the oven, as in my opinion, the cinnabuns at Vertical are the best in Sun Peaks. Almost everything is made from scratch and you can taste the care they put into the food and the cafe. If you want to find out about the locally sourced menu items or Cherry Hill Coffee, I would highly suggest talking to Rob. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the quality of food they serve here and very eco conscious, most things are compostable. If you are gf I recommend ordering the food item on gf bread because the wraps can be quite crumbley. Amazing service, amazing food and pillars of this community. A very small cafe but it has a big heart and a great menu.More

Under the new ownership, Vertical is thriving! This is my go to spot in Sun Peaks for a snack and coffee. The local and sustainable initiatives are a huge reason I started going back there but the passion the owners put into running the business...make the visits so enjoyable. The food snd smoothies are so delish too.More

It's a small cafe but I think that most places in the Sun Peaks village have wi-fi
