We are boutique coffee bar, steeped in the tradition of high quality espresso, espresso based drinks and coffee. We offer amazing panini sandwiches, breakfast and lunch. We have many varieties of baked goods, offering gluten free and vegan as well. There is no one else in the Valley with our selection of international award winning coffees. Rich, full bodies warm lattes perfect and smooth every time. Nice foam top with great coffee art. It is the best and we travel further to get it! Staff are personable, professional yet friendly.

Sadly, this place is now closed.
But it was my favourite coffee shop in Comox. I believe there is one in Courtenay, so if you're looking for great coffee and snacks, try that location

Excellent place to get a fabulous cup of coffee and a light breakfast. I had a breakfast sandwich and it was delicious. The place is bright and clean and the staff lovely.

Today my partner and I requested an extra hot latte as in the past we had been getting luke warm lattes. Lady taking the order (turns out she was the owner) started hassling my partner about the fact that they can only make them a certain temp. We understand that, but we know from past orders if we ask for extra hot they steam the milk a little longer to make it hotter. She created a big fuss about some “issues” she had with other customers, and we said well we just want an extra hot latte and we didn’t understand the problem. She came right up to my face (intimidating me) and said that I didnt understand her problem. Well I don’t think I need to. All I wanted was an extra hot latte (which is not even that hot, because otherwise we get luke warm ones). She was super aggressive, unprofessional, unfriendly, and told us not to come back if we weren’t happy. She even tried to make us leave after we paid for the lattes and had
not received them. She refused to refund when I asked. So I said no, we will drink our coffees first then leave. She followed us to our table and continued to berate us and tell us how we weren’t listening. Not sure a customer needs to listen to an owner rant about previous “issues”. We used to go there regularly, spending at least $50-70 a month. Clearly she doesn’t want our business. I have never met anyone so belligerent, unprofessional, offensive, over a request for an extra hot latte. In the past the cashier would just put in the order and voila, an extra hot latte. Simple Eh? I would not recommend going there ever. This owner doesn’t deserve your business.

Ursula, how old are you? You are acting like a child. Going on as many sites as you can, trying your hardest to hurt our reputation. Like I said on your first review that was taken down, we do not tolerate bullying or harassment. Not sure why you would continue going to a place if your drinks are always luke warm, very strange. The last three times we went to the Milano Coffee location at 2525 Mission Avenue, the owner/manager was working. He is not friendly and not educated in customer relations. During the most recent visit, after a nine minute wait, I asked about how much longer my latte would be. He rolled his eyes and said "soon". Period.

A small but new modern cafe on the road into Comox, hoping we would get a respectable latte here.
Upon entering the cafe, we were warmly greeted and chatted about our morning hike. On asking what we'd like - spot on - would that be two flat whites, he said. We had a chuckle of course and he gave us one of each of two different beans he was currently serving. Both were good, one with a slight extra coffee bitterness to it. But oh my soooooo different from many (not all) expressed coffees on our current holiday on Vancouver Island. I hope I find a coffee like this again on my remaining three days on Vancouver Island.
Carrot cake was good too, went down really well with our flat whites - totally enjoyable.

Absolutely the very best London Fog in the valley!
I'm not a coffee drinker - so this is a real find for me.
Owner is attentive and friendly - and she knows her product.

Stopped by for an iced coffee and ended up trying a tempting treat in the quiet backyard with my book. Everything freshly made - staff was polite but not overly welcoming. Would go back for the baking!

First time going to this place and I must say it was very clean inside and comfy. I ordered a fresh and healthy muffin that was still warm and a cup of tea. It was presented well and the lady staff member on duty was very pleasant. I certainly will go back to this little gem. The food, coffee and tea selection was very good.

Excellent coffee and baked goods. I believe they also have soup and sandwich type food but we only had coffee and a choc macadamia nut banada bread....super yummy!!! Great little spot for meeting friends and relaxing!

The coffee here is excellent and the staff are very kind and sweet and often remember your name, really smart service. It is quite a loud place so not really a place to go for a quiet chat.
