Welcome to Chicken Chef -Swan River, Charlie and Jaimie Walker welcome you to stop in and enjoy our great food and excellent hospitality! We are located in the heart of our downtown area at 511 main street. For your convenience we offer a front or back entrance with a spacious parking lot. We opened our doors in December of 1993 and have never looked back. We are grateful to have a wealth of loyal customers who frequent our 82 seat restaurant on a regular basis. Year round our hours of operation are 8 am to 11 pm Monday to Saturday and 9am to 11 pm on Sundays, making us the perfect place to stop for a bite to eat whether you are traveling through town or just needing a meal out.

Breakfast!

Really enjoyed our breakfast! Coffee was good and filled often, pancakes were great as was the rest of our breakfast. Our server was lovely..so genuine and attentive. Would come back again for sure!

Great Breakfast

My friends & I go to Chicken Chef in Swan River Manitoba for breakfast on Saturday mornings. They have great staff and very good food ! Going there for breakfast is a great start of our weekend.

I seen a waitress handing out flowers to the women clientele and when they came to an indigenous woman, they totally ignored her. Racism at its best.

Hi Kreenation. I'm sorry you feel this way about our establishment. I'd like to share the facts to the service you are referring to. The supervisor handing out roses on Mother's Day bypassed the table (you are referring to) as another server was busy taking the food order at the table and she did not want to interrupt the customer service. It was an incredibly busy day and the server then missed bringing this mother in question a rose in the hetic rush. This server (you have deemed racist) also has Metis children, I know she simply made an error in forgetting to bring a rose out based on being busy not on based race. I highly doubt she was making a racist decision considering her own children are of the same race as the customers you are referring to. What saddens me the most is that this was the first assumption you have jumped to and felt the need to say harsh untruths about my employee. She is a wonderful person and a wonderful employee. I am proud employ people of many races; Native American, Asian, and Caucasian. We also have customers of all races and cultures who dine with us on a regular basis. In conclusion, the customer/woman/native you have refereed to called me directly to apologize about the racist post. I'd like to keep this post here to show other customers or potential customers how some posts are simply very sad and untrue. I wish you the best. It must be long hard days for you to live with such hatred.

We went for lunch on Oct 27 and had an amazing meal . Our waitress was new and loved the way Jamie and the other girls work with her training her. The food was quick tasty. Will be back the next time I'm in Swan River

Best place for breakfast!

I've traveled much of Manitoba, and stopped at quite a few Chicken Chef's, and this one is by far the best of the franchise, and one of the better restaurants for all-day dining period. Breakfast is always great, love the shredded potatoes (which I haven't been able to get at any other CC) and the gravy is the best in town!

Go For Breakfast!

On a recent motorcycle trip we stopped here for a quick breakfast. Service was fast and courteous and the food was excellent. Would definitely go back.

That's right: don't think CC is KFC in disguise. It's a full service restaurant with a competent restaurant. Hey Rita. Busier than a one-arm wallpaper hanger. You did a good job of running the place alone during the breakfast rush. There were four of us and everyone was pleased with the food. We'd go back.

Best Breakfast in Town!

I had the Chef's breakfast and you are offered your choice of potatoes: shredded, pan fries or mashed fried with onions. I tried the shredded and they were good. I had sausage and it was done to perfection! Eggs were good but the best part was the rye toast. It was thick, soft and delightful. The service was outstanding. I will def recommend this to others. Thanks for the great review! We sell A LOT of breakfast! Ill let you in on a little secret: we offer an 'ALL DAY" breakfast, it is not on displayed on the menu (franchise rules) but we offer it all day everyday! Ask any of the servers for it :)

During Blue Bomber Games Chicken Chef has an awesome deal! 10 pieces of chicken for $10! This is a short term special but our family lives this place. Many family congratulatory suppers are eaten here. We look for special often!

Friendly Meeting
