Best place to eat in Alma! Scallops and Cod cooked to perfection. Homemade pasta absolutely wonderful. Chicken marsala with buttery mashed potatoes so good. Highly recommended.

I'm a basic person with basic needs - when I read the menu for this spot, I did not want to go. I still wouldn't return but based off of my wife's feedback, I would return if she wanted. There was nothing I ate that...was not good - we had a cheese board as an appetizer along with a salad. I ordered the Carbonaro and the wife ordered Arrabbiata - with her first bite she mentioned that it was delicious (hot, but delicious) - she tasted mine and also commented, "that's perfect". It was good, it just isn't something I would order. She looked at other folks dishes when they came out and she mentioned that they were perfect - it was a fine dining and the food looked amazing. I would say it is a gem to Alma!More

What a pleasant spot for breakfast! We had an outside table overlooking the brook which runs directly behind the restaurant. Our eggs benedict were excellent though I would likely not order it with smoked salmon next time. Although good, the salmon came with an upcharge...that I could do without. All in all, a very nice experience.More

Best food in Alma! Restaurant is charming, but with no a/c it can be very warm inside. Service is homey and pleasant. Family style pasta was a hit in the past, but this time we decided on individual plates. We passed on appetizers and desserts....Lobster pasta was excellent with large chunks of lobster and delicious flavour. Chicken alfredo was really good. Scallop pasta had large scallops and was yummy. Linguine amatriciana was delicious. The pasta here is honestly among the best we’ve had. Unfortunately you’re paying fine dining prices, without the experience. Cheap paper napkins, really limited wine list (as expected), Costco bottled water….oh well. Its a tourist town with limited options. Forgot my phone, so sorry no pics!More

The food here is delicious but the flies are terrible. We did eat outside but the flies were inside as well. Perhaps they could use flypaper on the porch. Waitress was professional and did a good job.

Homey, unpretentious, good food (including home made pasta), huge portions, great baked goods, great service, reasonable prices. The home-made bacon may be unhealthy but it's wonderful.

2 of us shared the salad with scallops & Thai curry fish stew. Both were excellent. Very simple, laid back atmosphere. Our dishes were both delicious. Asked for extra bread (I believe housemade) and charged for this. Just needed to sop up the deliciousness of...the stew which was very mild and not heavy.More

Food fantastic. I had the cod. Cod was great but the accompanying vegetables were so tasty on their own. Husband really enjoyed the Salmon Alfredo. We splurged on dessert too. Delicious. Hats off to the chef. Service was warm and friendly. Highly recommend

It was great to have a vegan option (burrito bowl) that was actually delicious and where they clearly put some thought & care into the dish. For some reason it's extra hard to find vegan food in areas that mostly sell seafood, so this is...a good find. Also really enjoyed the mango smoothie and the chia chocolate espresso pudding the server recommended.More

We’ve been a few times and enjoyed everything we ordered. The house-made fresh pasta is excellent. Highlights from our last visit were the mussels and smoked salmon appetizers, duck confit, scallop pasta, and chicken alfredo. I have a dietary restriction and was very happy with...the recommendation our server made to work around it to get the kind of dish I wanted. There’s indoor and outdoor seating and the vibe is very comfortable. If I were being fussy, I’d expand the menu of local beers and suggest that there has to be a better solution to the boil order than charging $2 for bottled water (other, more humble spots have found it). Anyway, this café is unique in Alma and we’ve always thoroughly enjoyed our meals, so I’m rating it 5 stars.More

The food we ordered was the Asian Seafood Chowder that my wife and I shared. It was one of the best I have ever had. The coconut broth was delicious and the portions of scallop, lobster, salmon, mussels and cod were extremely fresh. Service was...excellent. In particular, Shannon was very helpful from the moment we walked in. It was on her recommendation that we ordered the item, and my wife and I enjoyed every spoonful of the Chowder. Being a resident of Alma, Shannon's recommendation of the Waterside Beach on Route 915 was also an excellent one, a very unique beach during the low tide in the Bay of Fundy.More

We stopped here for a late lunch after arriving in Alma for a few dsys. We were not disappointed. Our server, Shannon, greeted us warmly and offered some suggestions. We happily took here advice. My wife and I split their Seafood Chowder to start. It...is over 1lb of fresh lobster, scallops, haddock and mussels in a thai red curry broth. I guess not a true chowder but amazing! Shannon told us the local lobster fishermen bring the shells to them and they make a 12 hr lobster stock...delicous! My wife had the grilled cod sandwich. I had a taste. Really good. I had the lobster sandwich. Came on a buttered, grilled bun and a ton of lightly dressed lobster. Best lobster sandwich/roll I have had so far on our maritimes trip (#1 of 4). I wish we had room for one of their homemafe desserts...they sounded great.More
