YES the flies are a problem and need to be dealt with. HOWEVER, we ate a lot of lobster in 20 days of traveling the Atlantic Provinces and this was the best lobster we had. (But we had a little better in Bar Harbor, Maine.)...More

It was a nice afternoon and after visiting the Rocks Provincial Park we decided to drive on to Alma for lunch. We both ordered a lobster dinner and got a nice table on the enclosed patio. Having gone to many Lobster Pounds in New England...More

You order inside and eat outdoors or take your food to-go. The maple syrup/bacon scallops were o.k., the chowder was not the best we have had by a long shot, the lobster was salty. My husband couldn't tell if it was the lobster or the...More

Great food, basic restaurant. No trip through Alma without stopping at the bakery shop for their famous sticky buns.

I wouldn't rave about this, as my chowder came in a Styrofoam bowl and the lobster roll that my husband had was fine, but later in the trip we discovered that lobster rolls can be way better. We sat in the greenhouse area and had...More

Among all these good reviews, I hate to sound like a whiner. I am very easy-going and undemanding, and up till now have not posted a negative review. But in all honesty, this was the most miseable meal I can recall enduring. My wife was...More

This place was recommended by our hosts at Fundy Highlands Chalets-what a great recommendation. Even though we could have hand picked the lobster of our choice, we opted for the scallops dinner-yummmy!! Quick service and great food. Nice place to eat outside.
