We were visiting the nearby Fundy National Park and stopped by Kelly's. Wow! We bought their sticky buns, peanut butter balls, and the stuffed dates pastry. The sticky buns are awesome. There's a Swedish restaurant in Chicago that I thought made the best sticky buns,...but Kelly's is better. The peanut butter balls were good but a tad too sweet for me (maybe perfect for you). Haven't tried the date pastry yet. They are open 8-5. In Alma, don't miss them!More
Extremely disappointed is an understatement. We went at about 9:30am and asked for 6 sticky buns. I was given 6 buns already packaged in a bag from the counter. I’m assuming they were day old because they were stale and flavourless. My 13 year old...son who will eat anything gave it back to me and said they really weren’t worth it. If they were day olds they should have been discounted. If they weren’t they were dry and not worth the time or money.More
Hit and miss. The famous Chelsea buns were average. The sugar donuts were great and the carrot cake was good but we’ve made better cake ourselves.
The amount of butter and sugar on the sticky buns was skimpy. Most bites were just bread. The chocolate chip cookie was awful. Same issue: skimpy on the chips. And bland dough. Bakery is also for sale. They must be tired and rationing the items...which make things tasty but are also pricy. Skip the calories I say!More
We bought sticky buns 3 years ago. Really great. This time, meh. We get the impression they are saving on butter and sugar. OK, but nothing special.
Amazing sticky buns! We were recommended to stop here on the way to Hopewell Rocks. The sticky buns were fresh out of the oven. Yummy!
Really awesome sticky buns you have to have them warm they melt in your mouth their not the same cold we've been going there for years just for warm sticky buns and coffee yummy 😋 been checking every day waiting for them to open can't...wait!!More
A small village bakery located on THE main street in Alma does not carry an extensive selection of products. We got a Whoopi pie (The famous) and it wasn’t really good- very dry and tasteless and the other “famous” item the sticky bun was nothing...special either. Expensive yes, good no. Not sure why there are lines? Most likely since they are the only place in town and mostly are tourists …that don’t know any better.More
I bought the raisin multigrain bread, which looked like a large mushroom. It tasted great, and I had raisin bread toast every morning as I watched the sun come up on the Bay of Fundy. The date cookies were thick with dates and oatmeal/sugar type...cookies holding it all together. They were a meal in themselves and a nice treat.More
This little bakery has a bit of a cult following..everyone raves about their sticky buns..although they were good they were not the best I have had. Their coffee was good and the other backed goods looked tasty.
Lots of times to chose from however, only bought a few of the sticky buns, which were tasty and fresh. Staff are very friendly.
This is a family-owned and operated bakery with delicious sticky buns and pies. They were both warm from the oven when we purchased them at 7am.
Stopped in for a treat on our road trip. Sticky buns were delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely come again.
Read so much about the sticky buns just had to try them. They were good but the donuts were fantastic.
