Stopped at this little bakery to pick up a sweet treat. Bought two donuts and a loaf of raisin bread. Both were a little pricey but that was more than made up for when we tasted the donuts and then later the bread - both were delicious and worth the price.

Kelly's Bakery offer lots of baked goods and are well known for their sticky buns. We usually will try to stop in for one when we are in the area. They are excellent when freshly baked and a great snack that I very much enjoy with a coffee.

All I can say it's a good thing i don't live close to Alma. We just stopped in to grab a quick bite. And we left with so much more. i hadn't had a molasse cookie with dates in years. Hubby loved the butter tarts and the sticky buns were so good, soft centre, still warm from the oven. What a treat.

I feel like I am reviewing a different place than everyone else. I heard and read so much about this bakery, and in particular, the sticky buns. My friend and I ordered 2 cookies and 2 sticky buns. My chocolate chip cookie was dry and barely had any chocolate chips in it. My friend didn’t fare any better with her oatmeal coconut cookie. We decided to save our sticky buns for breakfast as we thought they would be really good warmed up and with a cup of coffee. I have to say that this was the worst sticky bun I have ever tasted. There was nothing really sticky or flavourful on the top and it was like eating a hunk of plain dough. My friend took one look at mine and couldn’t even try the one she bought. When I came home and told a friend who had recommended the sticky buns, she said,” oh no, you have to eat them hot from the bakery as they are terrible heated up!” I really dislike giving such a bad review to a popular bake shop but had to be honest about our experience.

After hiking our group decided to drop by, there was a line going in. With that impression you know they are up to something, once you get in there is a counter on the wall of how many sticky buns were served, that added up the hype, while waiting for our turn. To cut the story short, it was such a waste of time and carb intake! I am a self-taught cook and I take it with passion. I can bake better buns than theirs, you too can easily top it by just searching a random recipe from the internet. Never again!

The amount of butter and sugar on the sticky buns was skimpy. Most bites were just bread. The chocolate chip cookie was awful. Same issue: skimpy on the chips. And bland dough. Bakery is also for sale. They must be tired and rationing the items which make things tasty but are also pricy. Skip the calories I say!

I was a bit disappointed as the sticky buns didn't quite measure up to the very high expectations we had based on all the glowing reviews. Don't get me wrong - the sticky buns are good. But I wouldn't go out of my way or make a special trip just for them. Also, the staff were curt and unfriendly. This was surprising as everywhere else we went in Alma, people were friendly and welcoming. Maybe we just caught them on a bad day.

Good local home style baked goods. It was my birthday so I wanted a small cupcake or cake and found a small tray with some small cut cake pieces which were good for two servings. Other things looked good but that’s all I had for this visit.

My family and I always make a point of stopping at Kelly's Bakery when we are visiting Fundy National Park. They always have delicious sticky buns and I love their whoopie pies. My children enjoy their homemade chocolate chip cookies. I was well worth the drive from Saint John.

Extremely disappointed is an understatement. We went at about 9:30am and asked for 6 sticky buns. I was given 6 buns already packaged in a bag from the counter. I’m assuming they were day old because they were stale and flavourless. My 13 year old son who will eat anything gave it back to me and said they really weren’t worth it. If they were day olds they should have been discounted. If they weren’t they were dry and not worth the time or money.

A small village bakery located on THE main street in Alma does not carry an extensive selection of products. We got a Whoopi pie (The famous) and it wasn’t really good- very dry and tasteless and the other “famous” item the sticky bun was nothing special either. Expensive yes, good no. Not sure why there are lines? Most likely since they are the only place in town and mostly are tourists …that don’t know any better.

20 years ago we visited Alma and Fundy and one of our most talked about memories over the years were the sticky buns at Kelly’s Bakery. Upon return 2 decades later it was nice to see the bakery still open and offering a great assortment of treats. The sticky buns are still as good as I remember. Go early in the morning to get them fresh out of the over. Also had peanut butter chocolate chip cookie that good and an excellent butter tart. As a bonus the bakery is very clean and the staff are lovely. Highly recommend this stop if in Fundy.

We stopped here twice! The donuts tasted just like what my husband’s Mother used to make! We bought 6 sugared donuts and the next day bought 6 plain donuts. We liked the cinnamon buns! The lemon tarts were to die for!

We were visiting the nearby Fundy National Park and stopped by Kelly's. Wow! We bought their sticky buns, peanut butter balls, and the stuffed dates pastry. The sticky buns are awesome. There's a Swedish restaurant in Chicago that I thought made the best sticky buns, but Kelly's is better. The peanut butter balls were good but a tad too sweet for me (maybe perfect for you). Haven't tried the date pastry yet. They are open 8-5. In Alma, don't miss them!

Not sure what the hype was about. Bought two packages of cookies ( peanut butter and molasses), one package of hamburger buns, one package of cake donuts and 4 sticky buns. Not off the day old. ALL were dry and stale. The cookies were flavourless and dry, the donuts were greasy. Buyer beware.
