Fresh and flavourful!

My husband and I together shared a lobster roll with a platter of fries and fried clams. Both the clams and lobster were sweet, juicy, flavourful - really fresh tasting. It was a huge portion of food, I think we spent around $50, so it is definitely a bit pricey, but we really enjoyed everything. A treat for sure to stop at when visiting Alma.

Good Seafood Platter

Stopped in and ordered the seafood platter for supper. Two big pieces of fish, lobster , shrimp and scallops included with slaw and fries. Food was good, portion was large. Small indoor dining or takeout options.

Best take out spot in Alma for fish and chips !!

We got the medium fish and chips and the fish was the best we have ever had and the pieces were huge. We also tried the fried clams and they were also very delicious and cooked perfectly. The prices were very decent for the amount and portions sizes.

Seafood chowder

Warmed up on the cold rainy foggy day with bowls of seafood cowder which was served with warm light and fluffy homemade rolls. The ciwger was stock full of a variety of seafood. The broth was thin and delicious. Girls working were friendly. Would definitely go back if given the opportunity

Best Fried Clams

Best fried clams in New Brunswick. We live in a tourist town with lots of places that sell fried clams and it is a weekly treat in the summer months so we have tried a few places and this one is the best. Big serving, fresh fish and they change the cooking oil often as there is none of that greasy after taste.

Good food….. unpleasant young girl taking order

Food was good. Service was quick but the young girl who took our order was the most unfriendly person. No personality at all. Sometimes just a smile or pleasant mannerisms make the visit and food much better . We both thought the same thing.

I was looking forward to the fried clams. We eat here when we visit Fundy Park. The food has always been good.

We arrived at the takeout on Sept. 9/22 approx. 5:30 pm It wasn’t busy. Our clam platter was overcooked- both the clams & fries. We had already split it on 2 plates, or we would have returned it. The fries were so overdone that you couldn’t stick the fork in. The order of scallops were cooked perfectly. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The tartar sauce was also disappointing, more like mayo. We would not recommend.

Best Lobster Roll by Far

On the way to Saint John from Hopewell Rocks, we passed through Alma and we saw the little building, near a river. So we pulled in, each got a Lobster Roll, enjoyed the view of the river and the Fundy Ghost, then took off. The Lobster Roll was not only the tastiest on the trip, they packed it full of a TON of lobster, it was far and away the fullest Lobster Roll as well. Just delicious and incredibly satisfying. Also the cheapest Lobster Roll too, at $8.00 or $9.00 or so. Fundy Takeout's a winner!

Prices creeping up but pretty good food

read things about this place saying cheap and good lobster rolls etc... Yes there is actually quite a bit of meat in the roll compared to other place. but price is up to $16.95 . I never find roll that worth it anywhere but if you had to have one it's ok. The fish and chip was pricer than other take outs at 18.95 for 3 pc. Good size but i found a bit too much batter although crunchy. The big disappointment was fries as just frozen krinkle cut frozen not freshly cut. The Fried clams ok but more like calimari. Only small orders avail now at $14.95 Clams not too plump but ok for what it is. Overall ok but at $58 it gets up there for take out.

9 of us went to the take out on Monday May 3rd/21 - a variety of meals were ordered and everyone was over full and satisfied. Food was cooked to perfection and delicious. Will be going back for more when I go to the park which is quite often during the summer months. Portions were large and very satisfying

Best lobster roll ever

We were out for a drive and ended up in Alma at the Fundy takeout. We had never heard of it but thought we’d take a chance. I am so glad that we did. The lobster roll was stuffed full of fresh lobster meat and the fries were cooked perfectly. It was a beautiful day and we sat out side at the picnic tables And enjoyed the view. We will definitely go back.

Great little take out.

The food was great and it was being used by locals when we were there. We had seafood, Clams for me and Haddock for my wife. It was large portions and excellent. They also have many other menu items as well as ice cream. seating is lawn tables, deck or indoors with a very clean washroom. It is next to the river and public launch and parking can be a little tight but lots of room on the street.

As we were leaving Hopewell Rocks we were discussing where we wanted to stop for lunch (we were on our way to Fundy National Park). A staff member heard us and recommended this place. We were so happy he did!! I had the fish sandwich and it was delicious. My friend had the scallops and again super delicious!! We also loved eating outside and taking in all the beauty around us. Definitely worth the stop!

Great Food

Stopped yesterday for a late lunch, wonderful lobster roll, so full you have to be careful eating it. The lobster roll here is equal to two lobster rolls other places. Last month we stopped in and had the fried clams, they were great as well. Hubby had the fish and chips, also a big hit. Great little place who are being careful with social distancing, in and out windows for your take out. No dine in at this time or bathrooms open but wonderful quick food.

Quick and Yummy!

This was a busy place on a hot summer day but our order was taken and filled quickly. I enjoyed a lobster roll that was stuffed full of lobster. My friend had delicious fresh shrimp and fresh. Our meal wasn't fancy but it was delicious and freshly prepared. We were able to eat at the picnic tables on site.
