Was in the area for work and I stop by this place for a bite, they only serve take out at the moment because of COVID though. The food still taste great and the combo portions are huge! I probably shouldn't of order the side...dishes, I couldn't finish it all. I wanted a variety so I ordered a Dinner C plate with a side of Pad Thai and fried dumplings. The food was pipping hot and delicious, the egg roll was probably the best I ever had, the Pad Thai had great flavors from the wok, taste as good as in a Thai restaurant. I normally go for the more authentic stuff if I was with a group to share but being in a small town by myself I thought a combo be a safe bet. The man served me was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and we had a great conversation about our travels abroad for food.More

Surprised how good the food

We were staying at the Rodd for the weekend. First time in Miramichi, we were looking for some food so we ask the front desk what restaurants they recommend and they point us to the Cunard. We walked over and was going to have supper...inside but becuase of covid they only offer take out. We decided to give it a try anyways. We weren't expecting much because we got our filled of small town Chinese restaurants and they are mediocore at best but the Cunard completely surprised us! The food was really flavorful even for take out. I was a bit skeptical because of some of the reviews but you really have to know what to order. There menu is very large and they have both Canadianized Chinese food and some more authentic dishes. We went with the recommendations and had the singapore rice noodles, stir fried beef with ginger and onions, cunard fried rice, egg rolls, bolo haddock and lemon chicken. The food was absolutely amazing, it can compare with some of our favorite Chinese restaurants in Toronto, the flavors were spot on and definately coming back next time we are in town.More

Best Chinese Food!

I have had the pleasure of eating at the Cunard for the past 28 years. Although I've moved away from Miramichi it's always on the top of my list for where I want to eat when I return for vacations. This past trip the food...was nothing short of amazing as it as always been. I'm looking forward to my next trip back so I can have delicious Chinese food with great friendly service. If you are traveling to Miramichi the Cunard is a must stop on your journey!More

Favorite restaurant in Miramichi

My go to spot for chinese! Wouldn't order anywhere else :) Tastes delicious and portions a great. Almost always have left overs when we order take-out and wait time is never unreasonable.

Worst chinese food

It was the worst Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been. The serve was terrible and they took the money of the food which we didn’t eat. I haven’t seen such a bad Chinese food. I have a huge Chinese food culture and it was the worst...experience. Their rice was like waiting for years. I don’t recommend for anyone for sure!More

Great value and great taste - Cunard restaurant take out service miramichi New Brunswick

We ordered from the take out menu and had a noodle Pad Thai, curried shrimp and almond chicken with rice and it was amazing. We were very delighted that the food was served really hot! Really happy with the portions as well

Typical oriental restaurant

Typical oriental restaurant with north american style chinese food. Perhaps the best in Miramichi. Offer a small buffet on Friday's but overpriced for what you get.

supper buffet

If I could give this a negative number I would. It was awful! Lots of customers that didnt seem to mind. Waste of our money. Soggy tasteless food.

Getting our fix lol

Craving Chinese? Well we certainly loved our meals! Pleasant staff, large portions and delicious. Service was fast, The Cunard had been open for many years which is a testament to their quality of service.
