We had a lovely dinner at Steve’s. The staff were very friendly and prompt. My husband had the scallop sliders and I had the lobster roll. We were both please with our selections. The owner even showed us the back of the restaurant, where the...fresh catches are caught. Delightful experience!More

Beautiful location by the wharf with boats coming and going. Reception from waitress excellent. Sat in the rear of restaurant which is covered with plastic windows but gave a great view to all the boats at the wharf. We ordered wine and soon after the...waitress came to take our order. One plate for two people and plate for one person (fisherman platter) and one spaghetti with lobster. After making a toast and having a sip of wine our plates arrived (about 5 min after) The plates looked good, but this is where it begin. The pasta dish was with a simple red tomato sauce and lobster, no taste what so ever. The fisherman platter was terrible, the muscles had a sweet taste, the lobster skewer was overcook and lobster claws where hard as a bone, the crab legs where big but tasted like old fish, the stuff lobster was the same and over cooked. Garbage can nest to entrance where waitress emptied left over, nice to attract flies but not help appetite. Everything served in paper plates and throw away utensils. The total for this terrible food was in excess of $300.00 . My wife and I where there 2 years ago and the food was way better. The Acadian peninsula is known for fish and seafood, but do not spent your money at Steves. Other restaurants in the area have better food and are a lot lest expensive.More

I give 1 star for location, right on the water near the wharf and the other star for the staff, other than that, not much good to say about this place. First, I am not a seafood eater but the other 4 people in my...group were. There is very limited choice on the menu if you do not like seafood. I had a small spaghetti with "meat sauce" and a hot dog (think this is on the menu for kids) and neither were very good. The small would be about twenty-five cents worth of pasta, under cooked, and about fifty cents worth of Ragu sauce. The only meat this dish saw/heard was when the cook said, "sauce meet pasta, pasta meet sauce" because if there was meat in the sauce it was invisible. The other 4 in my group had seafood dishes and they all said they thought the dishes were mediocre at best, especially given the prices being charged. I person had lobster and it was so over cooked that she said it was like chewing on a piece of rubber. I watched as the servers brought out food to other tables and compared them to the prices on the menu and I safely say that people are being grossly over charged for what they get. Oh, don't go here if you are hoping for fish and chips, as it does not appear that they have a fryer on site. Place seafood place does not serve fish and chips or fried clams!! Trust me, there are other places near by that serve better quality food at a more reasonable price.More

Sweet spot at the dock where the lobster boats were coming in at the end of their season. The food we had was mediocre at best. I've eaten seafood on both coasts and this is not great. For this location they should have better cooked...food. We ordered the shrimp plate for appetizer. Be aware this is a plate of shrimp right out of the freezer with head and all shell. Perhaps this is deemed a delicacy, but my first time seeing this. Scallop sliders were good maybe too much sauce which took away from the scallop. The lobster skewer was a big disappointment! I asked if it was a full lobster on the skewers and told it was. Only claw pieces were on skewers with onion and pepper undercooked. Could have paid $5 more for a full steamed lobster! The salads were amazing! The your waitresses were ok. Wait until you get to Tracadie-Sheila or Caraquet to get your seafood feed. Don't be lured in by the location of this mediocre place.More

Another hidden or off the beaten path treasure of the Acadien Peninsula. We sopped for lunch at La Terrasse a Steve because everybody recommended it. And boy we were not disappointed. What an amazing experience. All his fish is fresh and nothing is deep fried....Even the Italian burger was different and delicious. He uses all local products in his menu. Definitely worth going out of the way for a visit, and we got to meet Steve and hear his story. Well worth the trip. We plan on going back.More

The terrasse is located just off the Miscou bridge so it offers great views of the wharf and ocean. The seafood is ok but not even close to the best offered in the area or the province. The restaurant is quite “rustic” and the service...was quite good even if the owner, who was also serving food, wasn’t wearing a mask (Covid). All other servers were following proper procedures.More

Don't be put off by the rustic and rough exterior. Great service and a view to calm any nerves and make one's day. Sit outside if you can, trail your toes in the sand, and scribble your name on your seat and/or table (felt pens...provided). Menu leans heavily towards seafood and the beer is local. The food was well-cooked, simply presented, and very tasty. No wonder Steve's place is so popular.More

During a business trip to the area, one of my colleagues organized an outing with the meal being here. I don't eat a lot of seafood but everything was so delicious, so exquisite and so affordable. If you are a seafood lover, you must take...the drive over the Miscou Bridge to this wonderful experience.More

The covered outside terrace is nice as you get to sit with your feet in the sand, while looking at the harbour. Service is relatively quick, however the drink options are limited and they had no tonic for the gin so I ordered it with...cranberry juice. Food and drinks are served in plastic cups/plates, which takes away from a nice dinner experience. The food was good, we had lobster pasta, spaghetti and a dessert. Unfortunately, the price was definitely too high for what it was and for this money you would expect a more fine dining experience.More

Very relaxed. Very nIce view. Sand floor on some terraces. Very bad lobster roll, meat and mayo was hot, too many shallots, very small pieces of meat. Good seafood brochettes. No fish! Excellent service.

Service was mediocre, slow and not at all friendly, which surprised me from my previous experiences in New-Brunswick. We had to ask twice to get our ice teas, the server did not come once to see how we were doing, and I had to go...to the cash to finally get to pay. The scallop sliders (called burgers on the menu, but they are truly sliders) were fabulous. Minibuns with piping hot fresh scallop and a bit of tartar sauce; I could have eaten 10! But everything else was quite mediocre, the pasta salad barely edible.More

It is pricey for mediocre food served on paper plates with plastic utensils. Had a green e salad as a side with lobster brochette. By next morning doubled in abdominal pain. Back home and being treated with antibiotics for gut issues. Would not recommend, however...only one on island. Too badMore

Four of us went. Two had good meals ( pesto cod was very good, scallop mini burgers were also very good but certainly not filling enough- more than 3 scallops would be nice). The other two had the lobster sandwich and the lobster rolls and...these were disappointing. A good lobster roll should have small chunks of meat, not meat that has been reduces to crumbles. You want to feel that the cook has actually cut the meat, not take it from the leftovers. The restaurant setting is awesome as there is a nice patio, partly in the sand. Service was a bit slow but it was a busy night. It was our first time, and it might not be our last but we will have to hear about others plates.More
