The food at Periwinkles is delcious ! We had dinner and breakfast there and really enjoyed it. Try the plank salmon. I enjoyed a Dave Matthews cocktail. They have a lot of cocktails to choose from which I don't see very often in restaurants. Don't...skip dessert. I had cheese cake and my husband had tiramiso. Amazing !! We had breakfast boards for a great breakfast to start our day.More

At breakfast you are limited to one option. You cannot have cereal and bacon and eggs. At dinner the lobster panini was terrible

We had the charcuterie board, it was very generous. My only suggestion would be a bit less meat and less cheese but better quality cheese, not just cheddar sticks. The roasted veggie stack was disappointing. Very small portion of the stacked seasonal vegetables and instead...it came on the side with potatoes and broccoli. The stuffed chicken was good.More

Was a lovely warm July evening so a table for six was set up on the veranda. We started with a drink and enjoyed the vista. Our waiter was very accommodating.I had the beet salad and for main meal the specials of the evening haddock...in a mushroom sauce. It was delicious. Others ordered Caesar salad, pasta , steak and everyone was delighted with meal. Portions were the right size. They were out of strawberry shortcake and carrot cake for dessert but the cheese cake was pretty tasty. The inn is very nice and after supper a short walk to the beach. The drive to the restaurant was 40 minutes so it will not be a place we will frequent often. However you can stay at the inn and explore quaint St. Martins and the Fundy trail.More

Definitely worth spending a little extra for a good quality dining experience. We really enjoyed our takeout and other meals on the local seaside patios but we are really glad we had a full dining experience at Periwinkles. Amazing food....worth every cent!

We stayed at the Beach Street Inn and had breakfast and dinner here for our entire stay and loved all the meals. For breakfast, their homemade preserves on sour dough toast are not to be missed. For dinner, the chef really let the fresh ingredients...shine, with a light touch on the sauces and seasonings. The seafood chowder and the bouillabaisse were both delicious. The pasta, with choices of different seafood, was cooked with the perfect texture and consistency, and it soaked up the sauce and flavor of the ingredients. Even something as simple as a salad or grilled vegetables were expertly prepared to let the flavors and textures of the ingredients come through. Of course, don't miss the dessert, especially the blueberry pie (prepared by the chef's mother) when it is available. The full bar has a nice selection of local draft beer. The service was very friendly and gracious. Overall, a nice place to relax with family and have a delicious and healthy meal.More

We visited this restaurant not really knowing what to expect. Myself, husband and two daughters (4 yr old and 6 months old) came for dinner. I ordered the bacon wrapped scallops and my huband the fish cakes. Both dishes were amazing! Cooked to perfection and...presented so nicely! They don't have a kids menu and said they could make anything from the menu to suit a child. I have a picky eater so I asked for her own little charcuterie board...cheese, crackers and a selection of raw veggies. They also warmed through my babys food so i could feed her. This was no problem for them at all! The staff and the owners are so friendly and helpful! I will definitely be back here! THIS PLACE IS A MUST!More

We had breakfast there, enjoying the view of the Bay. It was extremely busy and we were still served very quickly and the food was phenomenal. We ended up going back 2 days later for dinner and it was just as great. Highly recommended!

The food was great. Excellent house made Caesar salad dressing, delicious mussels with a tasty broth and drawn butter, locally raised beef tenderloin with a delicious glaze, perfectly cooked. Bouillabaisse was rich and a bit smoky, full of local seafood. Great service.
