Stopped here for lunch on an overcast and chilly day. The Tea Room was warm and cozy inside, a perfect setting for lunch. A pot of tea was a must and a great accompaniment to our lunches. My husband had the seafood chowder and declared...More

Very welcoming. Everything fresh and delicous. Excellent stop if passing. Great to see all the teapots in display cases. Family affair and just the right place to be.

Although the title says Tea Room and it looks like a Tea Room they do breakfasts, lunches and dinners. A simple menu for lunch a dinner is largely fish but the dishes are wholesome and well cooked. And you can get to try local dishes...More

We popped in for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The menu is shorter but provides a nice variety. We tried the split pea soup which was true to the recipe I grew up with, having been born on the island. Wonderful home baked pies,...More

Small and busy. Not an extensive menu but all good. Friendly service & reasonably priced. Full of local history.

Everything about this restaurant was above and beyond! Food amazing and service top notch. My Newfoundland husband said the fish cakes and fish and brewis was the best he ever ate! This was a wonderful place to eat and enjoy true Newfoundland hospitality.

Myself and my husband stopped in for a quite cup of tea and homemade desserts 🍮. Key lime pie and Lemon meringue pie 🥧 to die for. You CAN NOT leave Bonavista without stopping in. You have teacups and mugs everywhere. It’s lovely.

Had dinner there last week. I had a nice hot turkey sandwich and my husband had mussels in a sauce. He wasn't thrilled with his mussels and I enjoyed my dinner. I would say I would class it as average food. Did not have any...More
