As usual, had the best meal at this place. Meals are always hot, delicious and service is not comparable to anywhere else in the area. We had butternut squash soup, salad , stuffed chicken , frozen cake and a berry cobbler and it was all...amazing. Cranberry raspberry martini is also, wicked delicious! It’s clean, tastefully decorated and in a wonderful location. Such an amazing gem of carbonear !More

We greatly enjoyed our visit to this B&B. We had made dinner reservations a day ahead of time, as prompted by the establishment, and were thrilled with our four course dinner. Craig is a fabulous cook and the meal presentation was wonderful, the salad, soup,...dinner entree and dessert were delicious and there was a varied beverages list. Our room was spacious, quiet, comfortable and offered many extras like remote-operated ceiling fan, complimentary coffee and tea and a mini frig. We were treated to a HOT breakfast ( three choices being eggs & ham, omelet & ham or cinnamon French toast, complete with juice, coffee/tea and homemade jams) at our own table in the morning. Although the rooms are upstairs, the stairwell is good and wide and our host was eager to assist us in carrying our luggage up and down. We highly recommend this spot.More

We've stayed at several B&Bs but this one was extra special. The room itself was the Baccalieu Room with a jacuzzi tub, in a restored heritage home. Need I say more about that? Pure quality, cleanliness, attention to detail and so comfortable. The grounds are...beautiful and it was a pure feel good experience. The small dining rooms offer limited meals to the public but our meals were true fine dining, obviously prepared by an experienced master chef, in this case Bruce. Mine was pork tenderloin, my wife's stuffed chicken breast. Of course when you order any meat, you want properly cooked, super tender, and complimented with just the perfect array of sides. This was it!Succulent, and those vegetables, I could have eaten just a plate full of those. The appetizers were superb, a roasted mushroom puree soup (divine) and the vinaigrette raosted beet salad (powerful). The dessert? Couldn't resist trying the frozen carmel cake, which picture is featured on thsi site and their web page. That's all you need to know really. I RARELY touch desserts and sometimes just share a few bites of my wife's. We each ordered one of these and ........well Bruce never had to do much more than rinse my plate!More

We had a fantastic dinner last night for our anniversary while staying at the B&B. The food was amazing from the Mushroom Soup, Beet Salad, then Stuffed Chicken Breasts to the Apple Crisp with vanilla icecream. Bruce is a great chef and Craig is the...most entertaining host. One of our best anniversaries. It is so nice too that they do not turn over the tables again so we could just relax and enjoy a long dinner. Thank you Bruce and Craig.More

To celebrate our anniversary as well as to support a local favorite of ours, we had another wonderful evening and anniversary meal. Craig and Bruce are wonderful hosts. Dinner was exceptional -we had the Lamb and Pork Loin. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Care...was taken to respect social distancing and to reassure us that measures have been taken to make things easier and safe for everyone. If you are looking to explore the area in Conception Bay North, this is the perfect treat for staycationers. Plenty of food, reasonably priced, exceptional service and an overall enjoyable evening. This is also a B and B - lovely rooms. Check out their website for pictures.More

A huge thank you to the owners of this inn. We celebrated our anniversary dinner here. Dinner and the atmosphere are absolutely incredible. Service is always outstanding. After our incredible dinner we headed upstairs to an absolutely beautiful suite and settled in for a very...enjoyable night. The suite is beautiful including an amazing view, extremely comfortable bed and a jacuzzi. Morning came with an amazing breakfast freshly prepared to our liking. Hats off to the owners for making our night unforgettable.More
