Nice place and food was good. No protein ... of sorts but still enjoyable. Our daughter did not enjoy the ice Cream as it's not conventional creamy sort. The coffee was great:)

This is a very nice coffee shop with fresh food and great coffee however, it's not open until 10:00 am. A little late for a coffee shop!!

This café came highly recommended and did not disappoint. The food was fresh, homemade and delicious. The views of the bay are great from the large deck out front and the surrounding gardens are quaint. Easy to miss, but watch for the large sign out...More

My vegetarian son and I travelled through NL. He was living off French fries and salads for most meals until we found this gem. Friendly welcoming server and absolutely delicious meals. NL needs more places like this!

The food was good, creatively combined and carefully prepared. Not the place if you are in a hurry but the view was great.

Ordered the soup and sandwich special; not so special and not worth the 45 minute wait... a couple that arrived after us were served, ate, and left long before our meal arrived; and the soup was not even hot... on a positive note; to sit...More

This is a lovely place with fresh food, delicious coffee and great pastries. The greens come directly from the garden and the food is homemade. A great place to eat after a good hike or before venturing in the Bonavista Peninsula.

Two Whales is a small, family run, independent coffee shop and restaurant overlooking Robin Hood Bay in the small township of Port Rexton on the Bonavista Peninsula. This is our 8th season in business and our reputation grows every year. According to many of our customers we serve the best espresso coffees on the island - we feel it is a combination of great beans (from Jumping Bean in St John's), our espresso machine, skill, our well water and a bit of Two Whales magic! We serve a range of premium teas and soft drinks including our special homemade organic lemonade. Part of our philosophy is that we do not serve anything that we will not eat or drink ourselves. We serve delicious, healthy vegetarian food and yummy cakes which you can find out about in our menu. Over the years many customers have asked us whether they can have one of our soup or cake recipes so we are publishing a recipe of the month. We use as much organic and/or locally sourced ingredients as we can, make and bake just about everything ourselves in our own kitchen and take great care in what we do.
