We were staying nearby in Trinity and decided to eat dinner at the Fisher Loft. It was exceptional! The setting was beautiful and the restaurant was equally as nice. The food was wonderful, be prepared for a number of courses all delicious and served by a great waitstaff. we had a little wait before dinner so we walked through the vegetable garden and browsed the general store on the property. Reservations are a must in the busy season...you can also stay at Fishers Inn. I did not see the rooms, but if they were anything like the restaurant i wouldn't hesitate.

We had supper at the Fishers Loft Inn while we were on a weekend getaway in Trinity. We ate during the earlier seating at 5 pm because we wanted to be in the room with ocean views. They have a seating at 7:30 pm but it is in the inner room. If you don’t mind not having a view that would be fine too. They called us in the morning so we could choose our main and warn if any dietary restrictions. You don’t get to choose the rest of the courses, but it is a set menu. It came with bread and butter, an amuse bouche of phyllo-wrapped homemade hummus, roasted red pepper soup with crème fraîche, fresh greens with field cucumbers and mustard seed vinaigrette, choice of main (cod with coriander tartar or braised lamb shank, both with mashed potatoes, carrots, and snap peas), and a raspberry yogurt pannacotta with white chocolate crumble. It was all delicious! They have a decent wine menu and local Port Rexton beer. The views were stunning and worth the earlier seating. Service was attentive without being pushy or “too much.” Strongly recommend making a reservation at least a week or two in advance if you want the later seating, ocean views, and a weekend! We weren’t able to get the later time and contacted them 2 weeks earlier in July. I suspect it would be even more challenging if it weren’t for covid’s lasting effects.

Words can't explain how wonderful it was to dine in this restaurant. My family and I had four meals here (two breakfasts, two dinners) and everything was delicious. The baked cod with coriander was the best meal I have ever tasted. We were celebrating my graduation and it was the perfect setting since the dining room is elegant and provides beautiful views of the scenery. Our sever (Brianna) was so friendly and welcoming. We were a bit worried we wouldn't have enough time since dinner is served in seatings and our seating was the first at 5:15. It ended up being plenty of time and we didn't feel rushed at all. Can't wait to come back!

Had a dinner meal/ they started with a single mini cucumber the size of a grape- on a plate. Then a mediocre carrot salad. The main course beef was good, but it was served with a firm tough 1/2 piece of roasted cabbage. That was too tough to eat and a big disappointment. Dessert was nice- chocolate tart pie shaped. Overall this was a very expensive meal and not worth the money

We stayed 3 nights at the inn and had two dinners and three breakfasts here. While both dinners were quite good, one was outstanding. It should be noted that dinners are a fixed price and that the menu is preset. The only choice to be made is which of two entrees that are offered for the evening. Also note that there are only two seatings: 5:00 and 7:30. (It may be 5:15. We selected the later seating both nights) The two dinners were completely different from one another but they followed the same format: small appetizer bite, followed by a salad and then a soup or a pasta, entree, and dessert. The service is nicely paced and the dinner does last close to two hours. Portions were a good size and although the meals were on the expensive side we felt there was value for the cost. Breakfast was wonderful all three mornings. A small "cold buffet" accompanied by a choice of the day's hot offering. We loved the quiches. The muffins were incredible and were different every day. It was a nice touch that the servers provided paper bags to take the muffins back to your room to enjoy later in the day if you could resist them at breakfast. Servers were all terrific. There are only so many of them and that enhanced the experience as well. Made it feel very homey. Seating in the dining room is in a perimeter configuration such that the outer tables all offer a window view and the inner row is the only other row. (Still a nice outside view) For dinner seats are assigned, it is apparently based on when the reservation is made. We reserved very early and were treated to that outer perimeter both nights. High marks and praise for Fishers' Loft for both the inn and the restaurant.

Reunion of 3 friends, totally enjoyed the dining experience; 2 evening seating times, set menu with 2 choices of main which you selected earlier in the day, included two appetizers, main, and dessert. Great service, book a window table if available. Note-tables need 2 candles as it was a bit too dark to appreciate the presentation of food on our plates.

Booked a weekend get away to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary and was not disappointed. This place is amazing, great locations with spectacular views. The amenities are first class, with comfortable beds and bedding, well appointed room and bathroom. The staff are friendly and accommodating. A quick walk to the Port Rexton Brewery is a must as well as there are plenty of hikes and sightseeing in the local area. The local Fox Island Aquarium was a pleasant surprise, the staff were quite knowledgeable regarding the sea life and its habitat.

A great place for a hearty meal overseeing a panoramic view of the town of Port Rexton. We had lobsters. Nothing better than enjoying a great meal and looking out for whales. We sat inside the restaurant but the way it was designed, we were virtually sitting as if just outside on the porch !!! The service was excellent and food was tasty!!!. Will go again.

They Certainly met our expectations of a lovely dining experience. It was a set menu with a choice of two mains. We went two nights in a row and the menu was different both nights. We will visit again.

We had a fantastic dinner. Choices were bouillabaisse or chicken. The meal started with an amuse bouche, followed by a salad, onion tatted, main course, and chocolate sin. All accompanied by a wonderful Sancerre. Well actually 2 bottles. The view is incredible. Service was perfect. All of this can with a hefty price. By the time I paid for one bottle, fixed price dinner, tax and tip it was $260. While I know this is a remote area, overall I thought it was bit expensive for what we got.

We stayed at Fishers' Loft for three nights and ate in their restaurant every night. Wonderful food - lobster on one occasion - and extremely good service. A good selection of wine too. What was lovely was to look out over the cove and the evening darkened the sky and also looking at the vegetable garden and greenhouse where the herbs and vegetables came from
