Great spot for a romantic evening for two or a small group. Excellent food with specials each night. We preferred the upstairs as it was a bit quieter (we went for dinner twice). Very responsive wait staff and very good wine selection. Make a reservation...early as they sell out.More

The restaurant is very lovely and has a special view of the bay. We had a glass of wine on the deck. The wait staff was great. We both chose the fish selection and the soup. The fish was tender and moist but a bit...bland. The soup and dessert were great. All in all a fine evening.More

We did the three course meal here. I spent about 10 days travelling through Newfoundland, and this was my favourite meal! The location cannot be beat. I have Celiac's disease, and they took care of me so well. I even had a delicious gluten free...biscuit to start off with, and a special gluten free dessert. The waitress was so nice, as well.More

The breakfast was as expected. The service was very friendly and the price was right. I wasn't able to make it for supper, but the menu looked delicious.

While the location is fabulous, the staff super friendly, the atmosphere as great as other reviewers have written, two of us had chosen the pork and it was just OK. Not worth the total cost in our opinion.

Due to a series of unfortunate events, the restaurant was unable to accommodate my food allergy. I was notified of this the day before our meal and expressed my disappointment. I was grateful to hear from a co-owner/manager with an explanation for this exceptional circumstance....She apologized and shared the steps she took to investigate the matter. She then reassured me that allergies are taken very seriously and they are usually very diligent in accommodating allergies. In my case, it was decided that on that particular day, they were unable to avoid cross-contamination so the safest way forward was to cancel. I agree that safety is paramount. I have been reassured that in the future, communication regarding their ability to accommodate will be timely & clear. I really appreciated her attention & diligence. Hopefully, one day, I will make it back to Trinity to give it another go!More

You have two main choices for dinner, and then a starter and dessert. The food and presentation were simple, exceptionally well prepared and delicious. Restaurant is small, intimate on the water, we arrived too late, but you can have drinks on the dockside before. Beautiful...location in this quaint village. Glen our server was warm, friendly and told us all about the area. Well priced - great value. RecommendMore

Starting with drinks on the deck, the evening shifted inside the restaurant to enjoy a delicious 3-course meal, main course pre-selected the day before. The space is cozy and intimate, yet spacious for the number of quests dining at a time. Reservations must be made...in advance, but well worth the experience, and at a very reasonable price considering the quality of food and drink provided. Highly recommend Twine Loft as one of the top places to dine alone the East coast!More

We visited this lovely, quaint restaurant on our 3 night stay in the Trinity area. Reservations were made considerably in advance and communications were excellent. The fixed menu worked out very well with two options for the main course. The bread and herbed butter was...too delicious. Service was impeccable.More

We found the staff were very warm and offered an effortless friendly service. We celebrated our wedding anniversary here and really enjoyed the restaurant and the food. I ate at the Twine Loft each night of my stay here and it was a great experience. I had the Moroccan Lamb on the first evening and the spices and technique used by the kitchen team took me all the way back to my...time spent in Morocco. Second night was the Blueberry Chicken, which I stated in my first, earlier post was simply divine. Treat yourself to a great meal here - you won't regret it.More

Twine Loft makes a whole experience of dinner- it felt more like a dinner party than a restaurant booking. We arrived to pre dinner cocktails on the most gorgeous patio adorned with fishing nets and lobster traps and Adirondack chairs overlooking a view you’d think...was a movie set. Being called in to the dining room, again it feels like being a guest in someone’s home and the most delicious food is brought, and brought, and brought to the table- Warm bread with herbed butter, comfort food soup, lovingly prepared mains and dessert that reminded me of my grandmother. I ordered the pork and my partner the salmon. We were surprised we both preferred the pork, which was truly 5 star. Tracy was attentive and hospitable and she was clearly delighted that we were delighted- just as if she had hosted us in her own home. Can’t wait to return.More

If you are anywhere near Trinity, Newfoundland, make a reservation at this wonderful restaurant. What an experience! We had joined the local theatre's walking pageant of the village at 2:00 and finished up at 4:15 p.m. We were booked in the first sitting at the...Twine Loft, which was at 5:15 p.m. We were able to enjoy a lovely seaweed gin and tonic on their patio overlooking the water before dinner. I had the walnut mustard encrusted salmon and my husband had the herbed pork with rhubarb chutney. They were both so very very good. The staff was friendly and attentive. You won't regret having dinner here. It was an experience!More

Probably an anomaly, but we (a couple) were able to walk in without reservation. I sure wouldn't count on that though!
