Central restaurant, easy to find, with delicious food. The fish was tasty and well cooked. There was no difficulty in providing a gluten free meal. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant is simply laid out but warm and comfortable.

This is quite a nice restaurant for lunch or dinner. They have an outside patio as well. We ate there three times over the 3 days in Trinity and all were good. Our favorite was the smoked salmon bruschetta, and the seafood platter. The cod-au-gratin...was average. Service is nice but it is always busy so be prepared to wait. (they do not take reservations for less than 6 people).More
Had dinner here 2 nights in a row, each time our food was excellent! Fresh fish, great fries, delicious deserts! Servers also really friendly. Busy place, but worth the wait.
Nice views of the water. Food is just okay. Servers were very nice. There is a nice gift shop above the restaurant.
The service was too slow. The chowder was terrible. If you like fried food it is OK otherwise.... The place is overrated.
Fast service with very fresh fish and great meals. We ate outside on the deck which was lovely but full seating inside also. Gift shop upstairs is excellent also
Sharon brought us our drinks and food while she ran around like a busy hospitable bee. Great fish and chips but mediocre fish cakes. Go early!
We were not impressed with either the service or food. We politely asked servers twice to take our order; they were standing around chatting, and insisted we wait for the server in our section who was busy; no flexibility and no orientation to customer satisfaction....While there were many clean and set tables available, servers continued to clear and clean additional tables rather than serving new customers. Food was ordinary and seafood chowder overly thickened. Will not return to this establishment.More
Great food and make sure you call to see if you can get a reservation. Otherwise come early and hope for the best. Staff were so helpful and the food delicious. We booked again for the next night. The Rising Tide theatre nights are especially...busy. Staff are doing their best to accommodate each guest. We bided our time on the clean lovely deck with a drink and the views are worth it. Thank you all again! PS crafts upstairs are reasonable and selection fun to wander.More
The food would rate a 4-5 depending on your menu selection, however I was not pleased that we couldn't get in two days in a row because of bus tours. We called to make a reservation and were told they only reserve in groups of...6 or more (we were a group of 4), however looking at the tables in the place they are all for four, so we ended up not getting in until after 7pm after being put on a waiting list. The servers were extremely friendly and my daughter had the very fresh lobster (they literally took it out of the ocean). I can't even remember what I ate because that lobster took over the show.More
The menu was reasonable and gluten free was not a problem. The pan-fried cod was delicious. Staff were friendly and courteous.
French fries good Nice view of water Crab cakes need to be cooked more Good bites. Lots of fried. Service was Donna and she was lovely
This is a lovely restaurant right on the water that serves a wide range of food with many Newfoundland classics. We had three dinners here and two were very good and the third was only okay (this was their seafood platter and the mussels were...terribly over cooked to point of being inedible; salmon was flavourless). But as I said, the majority of our dining experiences were very good and the service was great, particularly Sharon who warmly welcomed us each time. This is a busy place so sit back, enjoy a beer, watch the view and relax! The food will come soon enough and it will be great!More
Great food! We were here on a Tuesday and Wednesday and they are open!!!! Big plus!!! My husband loves the burger. I had fish and chips for lunch yesterday and it was fabulous. We had potato skins tonight as an app and they were great....The house curry dressing is amazing on salad and fries!! I loved my lobster. The cheesecake with blueberries is also fab!! If you’re in Trinity this is your place to eat!!!More
