As much as we enjoyed our stay in Kelly's Landing (same management), Sophia's restaurant was quite a letdown: a boring menu consisting of various meats and fish accompanied by potatoes and steamed root vegetables without a hint of flavor-enhancing herbs or spices - redolent of an English hotel-restaurant from the 1950s. No complaints about the caesar salad, but the pork... More

This restaurant serves as the breakfast room for Eriksen's Premises and its two associated properties, and also serves dinner. Reservations are recommended. We found the food to be well prepared and presented. Staff was reasonably attentive. No complaints.

The food was good. Fish and pasta was good. But service was unpleasant, we felt as if we were a bother. We were asked "can I help you" when we were waiting to be seated.

we were unable to get in the first night, but made a reservation for the next night- the seafood chowder was delicious, the main course was large- had no room for dessert!

We stayed in Trinity for two nights. We ate breakfast here and one dinner. The breakfast as part of out B&B was quite good. The dinner wasn't extraordinary but still enjoyable. The service was very friendly and prompt. Highly recommended.

We definitely got the impression that the staff would rather we hadn't bothered them. This is one of the restored buildings in Trinity. Dining room looks lovely but the food was really basic and not well presented. But, it seemed to be the only place in town ofering food.

Lovely eating establishment. Not a big selection for lunch but some variety. Very nice atmosphere and both the service and food were very good.

We had a family dinner with 10 people. The food was fresh and service was friendly. Would recommend anything seafood based.

We had a great meal here. We have been coming here for years and the food and service has been consistently good. I would also recommend staying in one of the B&Bs to get a true flavor of NL.

Charming place, and the food was ok. Our rare steak was over cooked, but still moist. Lovely cheesecake. Quaint surroundings. Worth a visit.
