This is a great location for a lighthouse, with wonderful views across the bay, and the impressive cliffs on either side. Watching the tides and currents is so mesmeric. A steepish walk from the car park, well worth it. However, it's an 8 km drive...down a dirt track to get there.More

We feared for our lives as we navigated the treacherous road to reach the lighthouse. If you don't have a vehicle that's suitable for off-roading, think twice. The walk down was also not for the feint of heart. Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't open when we...visited and looked pretty abandoned. Definitely call ahead to make sure it's actually open!More

Hello. Sorry we were not open, but to say the place look abandoned and that the road was "fearfully life taking and treacherous" is a tad dramatic, no? I have a 2006 Honda Civic that on occasion I need to take there and it can...More

This was closed down when we were there, so we hiked down from the parking lot in the rain just for the view. But it was spectacular, even with the clouds.

AMAZING DINNER! 3 course meal was served. You have the option of 2 entrees, so you may want to contact in advance if you have dietary needs. The portions were plentiful. Some of the best food I have eaten!

The Lightkeepers Guest House is really a unique place, only the lighthouse is still there, else only the sea and the cliffs. Simply unique. Already only the sunset is worth a visit. The room and the furnishings are functional and simple. The dinner and the...breakfast are tasteful and plentiful. The service is very friendly. The offered services for accommodation and food are not exactly favorable, but the location is worth it. Those who come to this area should spend at least one night here.More

The food is amazing. Arguably the best restaurant food we have ever had. Adults and children alike. And super friendly service. Appetizers was an amazing Caesar salad with as amazing mushrooms. Amazing Salmon followed for the fish lovers (and yes, I have used 'amazing' a...lot so far. Go yourself and judge). The non-seafood folks had an amazing (there is that word again :-) pasta full of vegetables. The salmon also had a crazy range of tasty vegetables. The service is very very friendly and ... unique. You have to be ready for unique. If you are looking for a great meal, yes this is a good choice. If you are looking for a unique experience, this is DEFINITELY the place. At a lighthouse on the cliff. Pay by cash (as they are out beyond normal). Coordinated by text messages. Just unique. We all love it. Incredible. It is not cheap. But unique it is. (And the beer is pretty good too)More

What a fantastic view of the rugged coastline of the Bay of Fundy. It is a must to see the lighthouse with the fog horn. You need good walking shoes to get down to see the lighthouse. Not recommended for people with mobility issues. What...a view!More

This restaurant is a bit out of the way , but well worth seeking out. The menu is on a chalk board and consists of a salad, two choices of entrees, and two choices for dessert. It is a set price of $40 Canadian dollars,...cash only, for a three course dinner. The night we dined here the salad was a Caesar, the entrees were salmon or Thai curry, and the desserts were flourless chocolate torte or rhubarb crisp. Every item was incredible, with the curry being as good as anything I had in Thailand.More

We absolutely enjoyed every bit of our prix fixe dinner. We were not staying at the Lighthouse because it was full, but we wanted to try this very acclaimed little restaurant. We were not disappointed. However, I should note that I tried to make a...reservation as their website requested, but I never received an answer to my phone calls or email. So we just showed up (early), reported gently that it had been impossible to get through, and we were served an excellent meal in this spectacular setting.More

My husband and I both selected the salmon. Our first course was a delicious Caesar salad with a perfectly seared scallop on the side. We also enjoyed the chocolate dessert, though the rhubarb crisp was also tempting.

My Family and I had dinner here. The View was amazing. The interior was very nice, clean and welcoming. The server was amazing, very funny. The appetizer of Cezar Salad was great and everyone loved it. My wife had the Poached Salmon which she loved....The rest of us enjoyed a very tasty Green Thai Curry. The Desert of Flowerless chocolate cake, raspberry reduction with vanilla ice cream was beautiful and delicious. All around a great and unique expirence with the view of the draining tide in the bay of Foundy experience. Would definitely recommend!More

Website says that breakfast is served to Inn guests from 8-9 but adds, "if you find yourself down the hill and a bit peckish while we are serving breaky, pop your head in, and say "Hey" I am sure we can accommodate something for you."...We did this (we were up early as low tide was at 8am that day) and we were abruptly told "breakfast is only for inn guests". Dared to ask if coffee was a possibility... "Only after guests have had theirs." ... Bravely enquired when we should come back... "When they guests have been served". It was 8:25am and no one was even in the restaurant, so we just decided it was not worth being in the same unfriendly space as this woman who clearly had no interest in having us there!More
