We arrived in Baddeck to find many restaurants closed for the day. Three Doors Down Diner was conveniently located on main street so we dropped in for lunch. It's a pleasant diner with friendly staff and servers. The menu is very basic and limited. Our...food came fairly quickly but the dishes were average in taste. I'm sure there are better alternatives for lunch in Baddeck when restaurants are open for tourist season?!More

Really surprised by this place. Looking for a glass of wine and everywhere else was either shut or didn't serve it. The menu suggested they didn't serve it here but when asked a wine menu was produced. Wine was nice and we really wished we...had longer in Baddeck so we could sample food from what looked like our sort of menu. Lovely helpful atmosphere which cheered up a wet dismal day.More

Baddeck is apparently sleepy hole for restaurants in April. After checking into our hotel we started calling around to find anywhere open to get some dinner. Well we were told they were open till 6…it was 5:25!.. we drove over immediately and we’re given the...choice of takeout or sit in. They were so busy it was crazy. Yet will still got a hot meal to run with from two of the hardest Working women I’ve seen. The cook was piled up with orders and the front end Gal was the epitome of organized Chaos. WELL DONE TO YOU BOTH!…we got back to our hotel with delicious food and all the fixens…support this place.More

We had a great experience here! We ordered fish and chips and their club sandwich. Portions were great! The club was very tasty! Unfortunately, the fish and chips batter was a bit thick and the fish was under-seasoned. The server was very attentive!

Went here after a bad experience at another local restaurant that didn't seem to like kids. Food was out quick and was tasty. Service was great. Go here and not to the hole that is Yellow Cello.

Wow! My lunch today was fine but my relative’s was far from it . OMG . Well the hot dog part of it consisted of a nicely toasted bun BUT the wiener had been microwaved . Her Caesar salad was the grossest thing I have...seen in any eating establishment. It was just drenched in dressing & the garlic bread was so wet , soggy , barely edible . When the waitress picked up our plates , she should definitely have asked if something was wrong since most of the salad was left behind with the yucky bread on top of it . Next time we visit , we will be going 2 doors up instead of Three Doors Down . The pepper & salt shakers were filthy , let alone the debit machine . Uuuggghhh . Never again .. locals there seemed to know what to steer clear of as they were eating fish & chips . Lesson learned for sure ..More

Ordered the Cheese Dog and Caeser Salad with Garlic Bread. Hot Dog was Microwaved and wrinkled.. the smallest Hot Dog for $3.50 Salad was soaked in Dressing, and the Garlic Bread was toasted, sliced bread, that was soggy with butter. Only ate the Hot Dog...because I hadn't eat up until then., left the all but the three forkfulls of the Salad and tossed the soggy bread on top of it. The server didn't even ask if there was a problem as to why the food was not eaten. First and Last time going there. We should have went to Tom's Pizza next door where the food and service never disappoint.More

I enjoyed the Fish & Chips and cole slaw and pie for dessert. The food and service were very good. It was a bit difficult to find. It is not on the street but down the parking lot 3 doors as it says.

The menu was straight forward and the service friendly I had the haddock and chips it was the best I have ever had the batter was so crisp and tasty and the fish moist and tender. My wife had the cheese burger, not impressive at...all . Stick with the fish and have a wonderful experienceMore

We ate at Three Doors Down 3 times while staying in Baddeck. Every meal was delicious. Plenty of food at a reasonable price and lovely staff. Never an issue if we wanted to substitute something.

This is a small restaurant in town, very popular with the locals. We had the chowder for lunch and it was excellent.

Have you ever had Scallops and Chips? We hadn’t so tried them here. They were tasty, but we also had fish and chips which were likely the best we’ve ever had. So good! Service was good incredibly fast and really friendly.

My wife and I stopped at this diner for lunch on our trip to NL. It was memorable for the wrong reasons. I had a club with a side caesar salad whereas my wife had fried shrimp with fries. The shrimp and fries were of...the frozen variety and poor quality. My club had processed cheese instead of real cheddar and overall not appetizing. The caesar salad was something I couldn't recognize as a caesar. The coffee was mediocre. Overall we had a poor experience and will never return to this diner.More

Last time I was at this restaurant I had a very good seafood chowder. This time I went in planning to have it again but when I looked over the menu, it was not there. I was too shy to get up and leave so...I ordered a cheese burger and to my surprise I loved it! It was really tasty and so reasonably priced. The service was great.More

The atmosphere is lovely, with lots of windows around the enter restaurant. Food was alright, standard fare. We chose a hot day and though the blinds were drawn it was stifling hot inside. Staff is friendly.
