Good hearty fare on a chilly day. We stopped here the day after the end of the Celtic Colours Festival, and many places were closing, but the Doryman had a few locals dining and watching sports TV. Good food.

The place was packed with locals, a coupe of musicians were playing. Food was good, reasonably priced, but unremarkable pub food. We enjoyed it.

We were one of 2 couples when we entered which is always a concern. Food was overlooked especially the fries. Waitress was friendly but as more entered it was clear she was the only one. I am sure there are better places in Chetticamp

Yes I would advise getting there early. It seems even on a Saturday afternoon it can fill up easily.

An original pub built in 1966 with astonishing view of the harbour and Cheticamp Island. Watch fishing boats or whale tour boats while enjoying a fabulous meal, a cold drink, or listening to one of our raved ceilidhs or live music acts. Many locals eat and/or come for fun at this laid back pub. We hope your experience is up to par, and welcome comments on Tripadvisor...
