The best seafood on our 10 day Nova Scotia trip! The lobster roll was the best we had compared to 6 other restaurants. It was loaded with lobster meat and had a very simple seasoning. Fresh and sweet tasting lobster, amazing! The seafood chowder was...also the best that we had. Not rich, nor amazing flavour, but just totally loaded with seafood including lobster and scallop. Simple decor and dining spaces, with friendly service. MUST TRY!More

The Seagull restaurant has a lovely sign out but was not open when we were there August 20-23rd. You need to check if they are open and they need to be clear when they are open and when closed

Hands down the best restaurant in the area for great food. Been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. Not the most posh atmosphere but charming and right by the sea. It's about the food anyway right? The lobster club is no joke!

Excellent restaurant on the cabot trail! We stopped for lunch and it was delicious. The mussels were good, and loved the Lobster club sandwich!

Best service, not rushed but so fast and friendly , the waitresses are genuinely there to make your experience a great one, best hot turkey with fries, so much food, you don't leave hungry. Fish and chips was absolutely delicious so fresh. The prices are...great as well, very reasonable. The patio has a gorgeous view overlooking the water. We had to sit in the main part of the restaurant but we could still enjoy the view of the water. ExcellentMore

My husband and I ate here for dinner on one of the nights of our vacation. I had the Grilled Seafood Platter and my husband had the Shrimp Skewers. Portions were excellent, service was fast and prices are reasonable. We sat on their enclosed patio...and had lovely views of the water. I would highly recommend this restaurant. It isn't fancy but the food is awesome.More

This restaurant opened the day before we were leaving. We had a late lunch on their closed in deck outdoor seating with no one there. The lobster club sandwich was the best lobster we had on our travels. This is a family owned place that...has been in the family for years.More

Huge sizes of delicious food with great service. I got the Chicken Club Wrap and my husband got the Lobster Roll with fries and onion rings piled high. We were delighted! Wish we were staying longer so we could go back...

We stopped by this roadside seafood restaurant in the early afternoon to check it out after reading excellent reviews. Because of COVID, we decided to order takeout for dinner. We were greeted very warmly and advised to place orders early to ensure availability for dinner...pick up. We both ordered the seafood platter and it was EXCELLENT- delicious, plentiful and very reasonably priced. We can’t say enough about the quality of the food and the friendly, helpful service. Definitely worth a meal there!More

We stopped along our travels on the Cabot Trail for lunch during the week. We sat on the enclosed patio overlooking the water. The restaurant had such a homey feel to it. My daughter had the best fish and chips ever; a nice thick piece...of haddock with a small amount of the best tasting batter. The fries were plentiful and perfectly cooked. I had the scallop burger with battered scallops and my son had their “nachos”. We all enjoyed our meal and will go back if we have the chance.More

A perfect locally run restaurant! Seafood was amazing and the owners so friendly. Better get there early because it’s busy. Large portions made with a lot of love. Fish and chips were exceptional! Thank you!

This was a very friendly, good home-cooked food restaurant along the Cabot Trail in Ingonish. I enjoyed a Lobster Club Sandwich and my husband had sautéed scallops. We both received generous portions and delicious food. We shared a ginger cake for desert.....if you have any...room left after the main, highly recommend this dessert....cake in a caramel sauce!...yummy!More

Really lovely diner - huge portions. I had the veggie wrap with fries (very fresh!), my mom had the chowder (very filling and a good biscuit) and my dad had had the hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes. We all enjoyed!
