The daily lunch special was haddock with 2 (or 3?) sides, at $39.95 CAD. Just a tad ridiculous, and I noticed that other patrons were choosing more reasonable priced meals ie: chicken fingers/fries for $12-14 CAD.

It may have been the end of the season but that’s no excuse for terrible food. The beet salad was canned diced beets with three segments of small orange, the seafood chowder tasted like canned soup complete with perfectly diced potatoes, the mussels were not...More

In fairness it was the second last day of their season which may explain some of the failings I experienced. Visited lunch time. They were out of a lot of things. I was disappointed with my seafood chowder which was only lukewarm and was largely...More

we stopped here with company from out of town after visiting Louisberg. Staff were friendly and sat us right away. The decor is very basic, more like a cafeteria in a hospital. But the views are out of this world. The menu is quite extensive...More

This lovely location could be a wonderful place to eat with it’s Oceanside patio and bright dining room. Unfortunately it couples very mediocre food with big city prices. Helpings are modest. The succotash salad was a blend of thawed corn and peas with a sprinkling...More

The interior of this place is so plain, virtually no decorations and it was quite noisy. I felt the food was way over priced, 4oz fish fillet and fries was $14. Not particularly impressed. But it does have wonderful views. Free parking around the building.

We stopped in here for lunch after going to the Fortress. It is located right on the water and has a view of the bay and the Fortress. It was a sunny day but the wind was blowing so we sat inside and had the...More

Spotted this place driving buy and thought we would try it out. Didn’t have to wait for a table and sat inside. Service by Kevin and Emily (think that was her name) was awesome. Those two handled the bar and all the filled tables with...More

This was the biggest rip off ever experienced. $200 dinner for two with a warm bottle of Chardonnay. Small tough lobster. We were talked into the dinner for 2 with “local” mussels. Tasted like you know what. I have had better seafood 1,500 miles inland....More
