We were lucky enough to go twice. Once for lunch and once for breakfast. Everything is homemade and delicious! First and foremost a bakery and cafe with pastries, and desserts always with a gluten free option. Second is the homemade sandwiches and soups and quiche for lunches. A must if heading to that area!

A small but excellent sand which shop. Bread is great. Very busy but worth the wait. Will be back for sure.

I never resist the opportunity to eat at the Dancing Goat...either inside or takeout. The egg sandwiches are irresistible, the roast beef sandwiches are perfect. Anything I've ever ordered has been fantastic. Perhaps the best has been the friendly, welcoming service.

My wife and I absolutely loved this place. The staff, the food, the coffee were all absolutely wonderful. We tried to visit as often as we could while visiting Cape Breton Island. While on our flight back to Idaho, we had the conversation how much we loved the Dancing Goat Café & Bakery. If you are in the area, you... More

Stopped in for coffee and lunch, had delicious soups and sandwiches, enjoyed decadent sweets and the cappuccinos were perfect. Excellent service in a clean, cozy establishment. I'm glad we stopped here!

Great coffee and tea and healthy smoothies. Some ethnic choices. Delicious soups and sandwiches and desserts. Clean bright atmosphere. Baked goods "to die fo" are for sale. Scenic drive in the Margaree Valley to arrive there.

I loved everything about Cape Breton, including a lovely breakfast at the Dancing Goat. There were a lot of food options, and it was a nice halfway point in our drive.
