I ordered their "French" decaf online. Their website inferred it was French roast made for dark roast lovers who need decaf. I was quite disappointed. The coffee didn't even approach dark roast, much less French roast. Waste of money for me. Grrrrr! You'd think a...coffee roasting company would know what French and dark roast are.More

We found it hard to find proper espresso based coffee in the area, and were very happy to find this place that actually had barista made cappuccinos we were longing for. Best of all - they have an (somewhat hidden) outdoor area where you could...sit and enjoy your coffee with your dog in tow, as we did. We also had a small savory pastry which was an excellent supplement for a stop after a visit to the Grand Pre Museum near by.More

We were here first thing in the morning, they had nothing ready… we ordered something dry, it had to be reheated twice, it was so cold so clearly not made that morning. Coffee was good but they COULD be so much better if they actually...tried. Disappointed for sure, I was expecting more.More

Homey and inviting with knowledgeable staff that can alter their drinks for dietary needs, including vegan, sugar free etc. The experience is enhanced by the ethical stance of the company.

Visited regularly at " opening" times, staff are never prepared, zero baked goods, have been charged full price for yesterday's muffins etc , it seems they are not concerned about regular customers, same excuse every morning , " sorry muffins are not ready yet" (...then why open at 8am?) Baked goods are not the same quality as 2 years before ( if even ready!) Muffins are half the size, line ups at 8am, as only one unprepared staff member on call.More

The inside of the building is being renovated but they opened up a trailer outside to order coffee, tea, snacks, etc. You can buy drinks of bags of coffee. I loved their matcha latte! And they have an outdoor seating area with picnic tables set...up near the building. Get your fair trade on with these superb roasters!More

The sandwiches, coffee, and service is very good. Really enjoyed the detailed fair trade museum that illustrates and discusses the importance of purchasing fair trade coffee. I have not seen a fair trade museum connected to a coffee shop before--very neat.

We stopped here to start our visit to the valley and we're delighted with our experience! The staff was friendly and the service was excellent! We enjoyed a Morning Glory muffin (still warm from the oven), huge Ginger cookie, a pumpkin spice latte and cappuccino....Everything was delicious and the value was good too! We enjoyed the coffee so much that we bought a bag for home! Highly recommend!More

We always start any visit to the valley at Just Us. There are loads of coffee choices for a variety of tastes, as well as tea, sugar, chocolate, brewing/beverage accessories and baked treats. There is a little museum if you're interested in learning more about...the business and outdoor seating + garden. Expect a wait as it can get busy, especially on weekends. Strangely, signage indicates the take away cups they use are "garbage" and not "organic" (compost). Hopefully, this will change - as will the provision of plastic take-away lids.More

We saw the parking lot full of cars and were looking for a quick bit and stopped in. This is an interesting place. There is a small museum about fair trade coffee which is worth walking through. We both noted that the coffee was smooth...and not very acidic and the pastries were good. It's a nice place for coffee and a snack.More

We dropped in for a coffee mid-afternoon on a wet rainy Saturday very recently. The physical site is attractive and well designed with the odd cozy nook. There seems to be a great deal of elemental hype centered around the cause of bringing in and...selling coffee from afar in a political neutral fashion. We get that. We are supportive. What we do not support is the seeming (in our opinion) sanctimonious attitude of the serving staff, perhaps better described as snooty who are involved in the final product delivery process to the end user at this venue; us the coffee consumer. Having said that, the consumable product is entirely adequate. Fortunately, the service bit can be fixed. In the interim, as this is not the only game in town or the only bridge into the city, so to speak, I would suggest driving by and selecting a free trade coffee vendor with a friendly and engaging service delivery process. It's not really that hard to find.More
