A friend of mine raved about how amazing the pizza was at this restaurant so I decided to go. When I placed my order, I decided to wait in the restaurant. While I waited the guy making my food started horking/hacking up in the back...while preparing my pizza... not once but several times! A customer and I looked at each other playing it off like it didn't bother us, and at that moment, I wasn't about to let that nasty man prepare anything for me, so I left!! Absolutely disgusting. If he could carry on with that nonsense while I was there, God knows what he would do if he was alone!More

Not what I ordered.

Ordered the nachos‘smothered in cheese with fresh veggies and onion’. Ordered it with beef. It came with green pepper, pickled olives and jalapeños. No beef. No fresh veggies. Pizza too. Ordered extra sauce. Barely any sauce on it. Yuck.

Awful experience

Normally I dont write about bad experiences but this one took the cake. I had ordered on door dash for pick up. When I went there to pick up my food the owner said they never received an order even though I had a receipt...and had shown them my payment confirmation. Instead of offering to call doordash or rectify the situation the owner rudely told me to wait another half hour for me to order again. She told me it wasnt her problem and that I had to just deal with it. I decided to leave. Awful customer service. Awful experience. I do not recommend people come here, save yourselves from getting pissed off.More

One of our go to places

Friendly owners. Pizzas and Panzos. My kids are picky but they love eating the food here. And they now deliver to my area in Whitby so thats a bonus.

REAL Pizza

If you are looking for real, non-big box pizza in the Durham region, this is the place to go. Not for the faint of heart as this pizza is heavy. Lots of toppings, lots of sauce, lots of cheese. However, the crust is very light...and always cooked perfectly. I find the service very quick as well. I can call from my office to order and the pizza is ready when I arrive.More

Must have changed owners

Impressed ?? Yuppers

Just moved to Durham and first & second pizza place I checked out was Pizza Nova in Pickering because I was a regular customer for years at downtown location. Being very dissatisfied after two Pizza Nova trys I was told to try Aunty's Recipe. Different...type of pizza from my regular Pizza Nova but it was an awesome pizza. Cheese galore which I love and cheese is the topping with all ingredients under the blanket of cheese. I had a medium size with regular crust which was thick which was OK and bottom of pizza was crisp which was great. I really liked their pizza and will certainly be ordering again. Along with the great pizza was the super nice owners, Sasee and Sulo, who will be seeing me again 👊More

Our New Local Pizza & Ital Restaurant!

Awesome pizza and great service! Definitely following Aunties home recipes for the menu and quality of the food. Not cheapest but definitely worth the couple of bucks extra compared to all other take out in the area.

Not the same

Not sure but I think the ownership has changed hands... Owner (Donna) was not there the last 2 times I was there... Pizza not the same as previously! and as such, is not worth the more expensive cost compared to other places...
