This is the best Indian restaurant bar none. We ordered takeout for a family gathering of 20 and the food was hot and delicious. They even helped us take all the food out to the car! The food at India Village is so good. The variety of dishes is outstanding and the flavours are wonderful. My friends & I have always been impressed with the food, the staff and the ambiance. Do yourself a favour and give it a try.
I wish I could give India vlage a good review but after being td to go away until 730 because they were full....the to come back and see the same tables empty that were empty 45 minutes earlier was discouraging. Then we ordered and waited...over an hour with no food being served. We ended up leaving with no food and hungry.More
Indian buffet food is never the best stuff. You want real Indian food go here! Ask for help picking items.

We were a party of 3 (myself, my husband and a family friend) that patronized the Dundas location on Feb 13th. While the food was very delicious - the overall experience was not so great. Our orders consisted of Chicken Coconut Curry, Lamb Coconut Curry...and Chicken Masala. The dine in menu (under the heading of Signature Sauces) said each meal INCLUDED rice, vegtable and salad. Our meat dishes arrived WITHOUT any rice, vegetable or salad (online menu doesn’t include sides). After waiting a few minutes we inquired about our rice and salad. The waiter said no that we had to specify a "COMBO" if we wanted the rice and other sides. We pointed out that it did not say this anywhere on the menu and it clearly states that our meat/sauce selections inlcuded it. We stated, if that was the case, he should have told us or asked us if we would at least like some rice. (Like, who orders a curry dish w/out rice????) So we ordered rice - which we had to pay an extra $5.00 for each. So the chicken with rice ended up being $20 a plate & $21 for the lamb. Also Naan bread is separate - $1.00 for each piece and if you want ‘butter Naan’ – it’s an extra $1.00 for the butter. Quite expensive and quite disappointing. The staff were very polite and friendly, but the 3 of us felt their menu mis-represented what was included and that the staff was not very experienced. We have frequented many other Indian restaurants but never experienced anything like this.More
We called ahead for a table as requested. Was glad to provide our vac certs and id. We received a warm welcome and service with a smile. Our server very patiently described some of the dishes to us that we were unsure of. We had...the lunch special with chicken and veggie dishes and it was all so very delicious! Portions were quite ample…had enough to take leftovers home and enjoy again. Great value for reasonable pricing. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and very clean. All around great lunch experience that was worth the hour drive to get there!! We’ll be back!More
I'm not normally a person to eat Indian food and I'm a restrictive eater. However I managed to find lots of delicious food. The only negative I would say is that it took a long time to order and then get served. I understand it...is COVID time and difficult to get workers. It would be good to let patrons know that it would be a while to get food. We were there for 2 1/2 hours total!More
Even in the pandemic, the restaurant still retains its excellent quality and consistency. The appetizers are always made fresh, and the lunch specials provide an excellent array of food variety.
I have have done both take and dined in - the food is consistently good. Would highly recommend it. Service is great - owner and staff are always cheerful and happy to see us.
