Probably the best fries I have eaten. I had a medium fry with a ginger ale around opening time and they offered me 'half way' which was great as I could salt a little and vinegar them up. Fries were not soggy at the bottom and I dumped them in my hand to ensure I got every bite. Service was fast, fries super delicious and there are plenty of places to park the car and to sit. Friendly owners. I will gladly go back but it will likely be in the spring now. So much to look forward to :).

My husband and I live in Orleans. We make multiple trips up to get these excellent frys every year. There is always a long line up because they are so good, but the line goes fast becuse they only sell frys and drinks.. I am anxiously waiting for Monday, so I can welcome spring with these mouth watering frys.

They are not doing the salt and vinegar / ketchup when half full but include them in the bag. I thought they were good before but these were excellent! What I had left over I took home and reheated in a toaster over the next morning...still just as good as the day before. Definitely a place to stop for great food at an affordable price.

~20 years ago my supervisor took me here after a day's work at the Hospital. He said it was the best chip truck ever. 6 years later I remembered that, and that's one of the reasons I still practice in Arnprior. Friendly staff, excellent fries, reasonable prices.

Was in Arnprior to visit my sister and ate here 4 times through a week. Great great fries with salt and vinegar!

I have been going to WES's since I was five years old with my dad, I am now 61 and I have taken my two boys there and hoping this summer to take my grandson. The fries have changed slightly but they are still a delicious treat.

Tried a lunchtime visit. Busy place! Only serving fries and drinks. . .. Not sure what all the fuss is about, the fries were good, service quick but just a regular fry truck in my opinion.

These fries are just ok. Soggy and oily - only semi crisp. At least they take the time to peel the potatoes. Little taste - they advertise no peanut oil well maybe they should get some
Not worth the stop - continue east to Alfred for Laundrault.

I've been going to Wes' fries since the 70's and I was hooked from the first bite. The fries are perfect, just the right texture and non greasy. A definite must but hurry before it closes for the season.
