Booked for one night and wished we could have stayed longer! Quaint and beautifully decorated rooms with all the charm of its original era. It’s imperfections are what makes it perfectly delightful! Kelly came to greet us and even though the cafe was closed due to COVID-19, she made sure we were stocked up with everything we needed (granola bars, fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea, water). No rush to get out the next day either. We are looking forward to our next stay; maybe the cafe will be open!

We were traveling from Kingston to Toronto and went by chance off in Grafton for toilet and some coffee. We ended up in this nice little Inn / Cafe. You are very enthusiastically welcomed at the entrance, the place is beautifully renovated and the food and drinks great. Certainly worth a stop for your coffee and muffins. I had here a great cappuccino there, the best so far in Canada. I would stop there again next time for sure! And I would also extend the visit to sleep over in the inn.

My sisters and I were taking our Mom to Ste Anne's Spa for a couple of nights. This was a lovely lunch, before checking in and our afternoon tea at the spa. Food was excellent!

My wife and I stopped in at the cafe for brunch. I ordered scrambled eggs and asked to not include meat, in this case sausage or bacon. Not inexpensive at $14, but the menu advertised everything locally sourced. I was originally told that I could get a substitute for the meat, extra potato or toast or whatever. Or they would adjust the price accordingly if I didn't want a substitution. The bill came with the meal priced at....$14. When I asked them to correct the bill as was originally agreed on, they refused, saying that everything was locally sourced as if that was relevant. I'll never return and make sure that any friends visiting the area are warned. As you have been now.

I stopped in for some comfort food to ease a throbbing headache. My heart was warmed by the care and concern of the young waitress there. I was even more delighted when my black current and brie panini arrived. What a delicious combination! The cafe and inn are sparkling clean and well appointed and I look forward to my next visit.

Not the best for breskfast. Order mix up to start, slow service and eggs overkooked. And yet we were the only customer in the place. So sad, it could be a gorgeus place.

We are so happy this restaurant is open again, we used to go here years ago for breakfast and it’s such a wonderful option for a meal. We arrived during the week and enjoyed a cool cucumber soup and a carrot ginger soup and split a sandwich. The loaded grilled cheese hit the spot and the tomatoes in the sandwich were picked from their garden. I’m still thinking about the soups, it’s so refreshing to enjoy a quality meal close to home. Such a gem of a spot and we can’t wait to go back for their weekend brunch, the menu looks amazing.

Had lunch there with three friends (did not stay at the INN). Orders are placed/taken at a counter and then food is delivered to your table. While the food was good, the service time was unreasonable. The Inn was not busy yet it took 45 minutes to be served. Very disappointing.

We stumbled upon this place enroute to Ste.Anne's Spa and stopped for lunch not knowing what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised to find a beautifully decorated (bright yellow walls and tall ceilings) and very clean!
We really enjoyed the brie and pear sandwich with side salad. They have an extremely limited wine selection but the couple they had they served by the glass and they were quite tasty!

Thank you for the kind review! Happy to hear you enjoyed your brie and pear sandwich! We've upgraded to a local black currant supplier in replacement of the pear and it's pretty delicious, hope you'll come back to try.

Grafton Inn is a friendly spot, great for a simple lunch. We haven't stayed in the inn. The café area is mid-size and offers nice choices of soups and sandwiches, often on fresh-baked local breads. Recommended.

Revisited the Grafton Village Inn earlier this month. Stayed at a different location that is owned by the Inn. A large Victorian home. Divided into two guest sections, consisting of upper and lower accomidation.. We had the ground floor which was a very large king suite with a kitchen in it , outside big wrap around deck with chairs and tables which was perfect spot to enjoy-ones morning coffee on while listening to the birds.Did have a couple of minor issues and both were resolved to our satisfaction by the Inn..would stay there again, as before food was delicious, and very friendly staff , excellent spot !

We stopped here for lunch on a Saturday when we were doing a lazy "country" drive. The menu is limited - a couple of options of breakfast type sandwiches, quiche and soup.
The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. You order/pay at the counter and they bring your food to your table.
They also had a few deserts and some breakfast scones which looked delicious.

The Grafton Village proved to be an excellent site for exploring the area. The Inn is very comfortable. The rooms have been updated and yet still reflect the traditional decor. Breakfast was delicious with many homemade items. We would highly recommend this inn.

Great food, great service, very friendly staff. I loved it. It is a beautiful place in the heart and a very small town with lots of character and charm. Very relaxing and quiet.
