The Sad Truth

As a previous worker, the food is always better for the lunch service. Lunch is always fresh, while dinner gets forgotten about. The closer for that night is told to clean while customers are still present, and the same goes with the kitchen. The food can be really well made if there was more effort. My advice, gets the take-out. Always made fresh.

Do not go before 5:15 PM for the buffet as the steam trays aprox 40% empty & the ones that have food in them are from the noon buffet !

Ordered take out… I had to pay before getting the food. I was here when I was supposed to be here and I already give a tip.

Buyer Beware! Deplorable Customer Service!

I ordered the BBQ Pork for pick-up because I was making Bao Buns. Got home, it was not #1 BBQ Pork, but #77 BBQ Pork with Broccoli. I called, girl said she would have remade, drove all the way back to have her tell me they refused because both dishes have broccoli? I asked why she didn't call and tell me that before I drove all the way there? Blank look? Asked to speak to Manager who insisted that they both have broccoli even though the one I ordered does not say that. This does not make sense? Why two exact same dishes on the menu? She said one is stir fried with broccoli and the other one the pork sits on top of the broccoli...really? Deceitful. I said if I wanted broccoli I would have ordered it. I asked if she could just give be BBQ Pork and she said no it would be too expensive. No offer to reimburse me for the dish. No apology for the misunderstanding. No apology for having me drive all the way back for no reason. I called May May Inn and asked if their BBQ Pork was just BBQ Pork, it is, same price. Guess where I will be going in the future...

Very pleasantly enjoyable. Hostess was so nice & for 1st person you meet, made us feel welcome. Food very plentiful & lots of variety. Will be back.thank you

Quiet evening with great food and great company

The resteraunt is nice and clean with a very beautiful fish tank at the front entrance. The all you can eat buffet is not huge, but I found that it had enough variety and choices of Asian dishes and some Canadian as well. I found the food to be delicious. My favourite was the fried chicken, salmon and sesame balls which I hadn't had in a long time. Staff was very friendly. Atmosphere was quiet so it was easy to have a conversation with my husband.

Arrived at 6:30pm and there were limited quantities of several dishes. Food was fair, not great. Server seemed annoyed to have to wait on us even though we got the buffet which required little work for her.

Had A Very Good Buffet Dinner For 2 + Child Under $55

The food was fresh and the trays all full unlike some Buffets. Crab Legs on weekends. Very good and not too $$$. Atmosphere was quiet for a buffet. Thumbs up. A+++

The Lucky Chopsticks is good spot for a family lunch or dinner or for a take-away. They have foods for every taste and all of your chinese buffet favourites. The service is good and the decor modern and well kept. It's on my list for places to eat in Kingsville.

A very average selection, but they charge Mandarin prices. No menu... sign at door lists a price that looks not too bad, but ends up being the "TAKE OUT" price when you question your bill. I would never return to this place and suggest you give it a miss as well.

Decent selection... pretty basic quality BUT so expensive. Took my two grandkids - 9 and 6 - the meal was $50. Insane for what we ate. No thanks!

Small Changes Could Make A Big Difference

Lucky Chopsticks looks less lucky of late. Carpet needs cleaning. Walls need repair. Laminate is coming off the tables. It's nicely decorated, but it needs to be freshened up. These are all easy fixes. Also I think that some peaceful oriental music would be more appropriate than playing a local radio station. Lucky Chopsticks continues to make great deep fried fish, chicken wings and spring rolls. Vegetables are cooked perfectly. Sauces have good flavor. Lucky Chopsticks cannot make good sushi and should take it off the buffet. They should be able to make a good Hot & Sour soup, but their's lacks substance and taste. Service is great....friendly and attentive! Will I come back? Not for a while.
