This was the 2nd time we went here. Wanted to give them a second chance, but I was very disappointed in the food this time. I ordered Spinach Florentine - with Hollandaise Sauce and shopped tomatoes. The presentation looked good, but when you ate it,...it had a weird taste. I think this sauce came powdered and they just added water, it tasted like paste. I did have a few mouthfuls thinking it was me, but no, hubby tasted it too and he shock his head, then said don't eat anymore. Hubby ordered a Shaved Ham and Egg Melt [when it arrived it was the size of a child's portion]. The homefries did not taste like they were freshly done, they were very crunchy. I did tell the server that I thought the Sauce was horrible and that we would not be back to this location, as this was their 2nd chance to show us a nice breakfast. The manager though did refund the cost of my meal, but we would rather go to the Guelph location on Woodlawn near Hwy #6. We were there between 8:10a and 8:45a - there were only 10 other people eating breakfast then. The previous time we were there - about 5 weeks ago, there was no line up and we arrived on the Saturday around 9am.More

I don’t often do sub par reviews but I was let down. Staff seemed really disappointed to be working there. Food was less than impressive, I noticed my food in the pass for a few min and that’s why eggs were a let down. This...is my second time here and I don’t think I’ll return.More

First, be warned that there is a bit of a wait time to get seated (20 - 25 minutes to able), and to get your order in (another 10 minutes ), because this place and the staff are busy... and for good reason... the food...is great and the locals know it. I ordered French Toast with strawberries, blueberries, and whipped cream, with a side order of the real Canadian maple syrup . I also had a side of crispy bacon. The French toast was perfectly prepared and paired so well with lots of fresh fruit and plenty of whipped cream. Service was friendly, and there were many top-ups for my coffee (without having to ask). I pride myself with making French Toast, but it cannot compare with the quality at this restaurant. My wife REALLY enjoyed her waffle with the white and milk chocolate chips. Of course, any REAL Canadian would order the maple syrup as a side, instead of just using the free corn syrup sitting on the table. So... DO THAT. And YES, my wife and I will be back.More

Breakfast, with family, have been here multiple times, service is always good and the food is consistently good. There's was one time only I had to ask for a coffee refill.

We were in the area for a Wings and Wheels event and wanted breakfast before heading back out for home. It was very busy but the service was outstanding - keeping the coffee coming and always available when we needed anything but not hovering or...appearing to rush us out to make room for the next customer as is sometimes the case when a restaurant is busy. Breakfast menu items include omelets, variations on hash, assorted pancakes and French toast as well as the usual eggs and meat offerings. We split an order of chocolate banana pancakes and each had an omelet or a hash. Everything was good and their strawberry jam is delicious.More

Greasy smell in the air the whole time. Had breakfast club and stacked club. Good portions, average quality, great home fries; think chunky-cut baked potatoes then fried. Drab surroundings but it is a franchise. Service was fast and friendly though. Will not return.

You would think that a pancake House would serve pancakes that are to die for. Well apparently they must be difficult to make. Visited on a Sunday morning and sat close to the kitchen. The food was delicious, but we could see our order sitting in the window for quite some time. We had to flag our waitress down a couple times for refills and she forgot to...punch in one of our orders. The 3 of us had almost finished our meals by the time the 4th one was delivered. It took a long time to be offered drinks when we first sat down, took a while for our food to be delivered and took a while to get the bill.More

Good brunch, portions were large, food was cooked well and our orders were all correct, the wait for our meal after ordering though was almost 40 minutes, and no one came to refill drinks during that time until we flagged down a waitress for coffee/tea...refills.More
